"Couric" Coined The Unit Of Measurement For Excrement By "South Park"

On Wednesday night's "South Park" on Comedy Central, Stan's dad takes what he believes is a record-breaking sized bowel movement, so he calls for an official weigh in by officials at the office of European Fecal Standards and Measurements in Zurich. The official unit of measurement is a Couric, named for the CBS news anchor, as explained in the clip below. Both Comedy Central and CBS are owned by Viacom.

last weekend I attended a boy scout event with my son. As we had queued up to shoot BB guns, the instructor explained the various parts of the gun; the stock; the muzzle and of course the "butt."

The utterance of the word "butt" elicited giggles from the youngest kids in line and knowing smiles from the adults present.

I was a girl scout, my brothers boy scouts and none of us where ever given bb gun lessons?!... ? A BB gun, not an actual rifle. You don't see adults running around shooting BBs. They were intentionally designed for children's use. And yes, they are used as a training aid to get kids used to holding guns. Well rifles I guess. But who cares? It's not exactly teaching them to shoot Mac10s or Uzis or even .50 cals from the top of Ford F150s or anything like that. sheesh.

Stretchumall makes a good point. When the nitwits here finally understand that there is no real difference between Pukes and Dims, they may come to appreciate the 2nd amendment.

NRA membership is tiny in comparison to actual gun ownership. I don't personally know a gun owner who is a member. It's primarily just a well greased interest group having much more to do with gun manufacturers than owners.

To be on subject, South Park used to be pretty funny. Like I've said though, there's only about 2.5 to 3 years of fresh material in any show with precious few exception. South Park is not an exception.

As a serious reply, remembering back to my younger days, I'd say there is a 100% chance that a school age boy wants to shoot a BB gun, about a 90% chance that he will eventually get his hands on one and a 25% chance that he will hurt someone/something with it. That being my subjective reality, I'd like them to know how to use it safely. Me, myself, my first shot was at a bird on a wire and I actually hit the damn thing(still hard to believe), watched it fall to the ground and saw it take its last breath. Haven't touched one since.

As for defense against our current crop of fascists(aka neocons, chickenhawks), children with BB guns should be more than enough to send then to thier bunkers.

South Park is pretty touch-and-go these days. The season premiere was probably better than all of last season (barring the "Bi-Curious" and "N*gger Guy" episodes, of course). The Hillary/24 episode last year was the MOST disappointing...
