Larry Craig Opens Up About Why He Did Not Tell Wife About Arrest

Idaho Senator Larry Craig and his wife sat down with "Today host Matt Lauer to break their silence and talk about his guilty plea in a sex sting at an airport bathroom. Craig answered a question about why he didn't tell his wife about the arrest until the press was about to break the story months later. We suspect that his reluctance to tell his wife stemmed less from his "embarrassment" and more from his desire to keep the arrest as quiet as possible. Idahoans have the ability to recall him, but the process requires a lot of signatures and foot work, which takes more time to do than he has left to finish his term.

When he finally quits, he's not going to come back to Idaho- he will stay in D.C. More protection there for him.

I have been wondering about the geography of the airport. How far from his arriving terminal was this rest room? How far was the rest room from the departure terminal. Did he have to go out of his way to get there? Why isn't anybody asking about that? Isn't it great to know that a 61 year old man who has the power as a U.S. Senator to send soldiers to their death in battle has the good judgment NOT to tell his wife he got arrested for making a pass at a 26 year old undercover cop in a men's room?
