Idaho Senator Larry Craig and his wife sat down with "Today host Matt Lauer to break their silence and talk about his guilty plea in a sex sting at an airport bathroom. Craig answered a question about why he didn't tell his wife about the arrest until the press was about to break the story months later. We suspect that his reluctance to tell his wife stemmed less from his "embarrassment" and more from his desire to keep the arrest as quiet as possible. As a gay man I agree with "WhirledTraveler", and the bad name it gives to the glbt community. This practice has been going on for as long as I can remember and I am frankly glad it is getting the exposure and coverage it deserves.
A majority of these bathroom predators are by their own admission happily married and even with children. They are not gay. If they were they wouldn't be hanging out in mens rooms, peeking through the stall doors and hoping for some taboo encounter.
If I have to use a public facility, I do not poke my nose and eyes up to the crack of a stall door to see if it is in use nor do I leer at the person standing at a urinal near the one I'm using while I stroke myself, (this is another technique these turd trollers use to get or give a possible quick, sexual encounter). Most straight men I know have encountered or witnessed this kind of behaviour at one point or another in their lives. In most cases these predatory actions are too vile and disgusting for most men (gay or straight) to acknowledge, so the incident is quickly dismissed and forgotten and nothing is ever said. There are a few in the gay community who do practice these sorts of unhealthy public toilet games but the vast majority of those who are caught and exposed (no pun intended) do not and would not ever consider themselves a homosexual - like me.
Gay men, gay women and those in between have morals, too. The same as everyone else.

This is not the first conversation he had to have with the long suffering wife on the issue of his asking for sex in inappropriate places.
