Andy has such great gay moments. The last one I recall was when Ryan Sea-Thing was hosting Larry King. They had the biggest, gayest television moment of man flirts I have seen in a while. Loved it. So, I can imagine the heat with him, Jeff Corwin, a snake and the steam of the rain forest.

Apart from Anderson's dislike of the jungle, the concern for wildlife being sold/smuggled to China for food and medicine is a very real concern.
Exotic and endangered wildlife is often thought of in China as having exotic effects on people's health, so, there is a growing market in these animals.
While snake or turtle soup will certainly make your yang stand up and make you very warm in winter, some animals are consumed for their uniqueness alone.

That's a funny line. I much pefer nature as a general concept than as a reality, myself. I grew up in Maine where blackflies would occassionally carry off one of the smaller children.
