John Goodman has checked out of rehab after being treated for an undisclosed reason.
The actor left Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, Entertainment Tonight reported on its Web site Wednesday.
"For my family and myself, I voluntarily took the necessary steps to remain sober the rest of my life," Goodman said in a statement issued by his publicist Stan Rosenfield.

Hes a good actor and it would be a waste to lose him.
Money can't buy everything.
If he feels he genuinely has a problem, good for him for going for help and not abusing the process. Now, some news for him. Rehab doesn't certify you as sober for life. You will have this forever. So please don't mislead any fans who might not be aware of this.
