I Like ItI Don’t Like It

On last night's "Kid Nation," the controversial CBS reality show following 40 kids as they attempt to build an adult-free society, 11-year old Kelsey was complaining that, although her Yellow Team teammate Zach knew a lot about presidential history, it didn't qualify him for the town council (he was running to unseat the incumbent Taylor). To illustrate her point, she used the example of George Bush:

"Look at George W. Bush, he's not smart at all and he won the U.S. President two times in a row."

Shocked the producers kept that in? Shocked the kids on this show are smarter than you thought? Let us know in the comments section, and be sure to check out Gabriel Delahaye's HuffPost liveblog of "Kid Nation" here.

From CBS, 10/17

Two term presidency are by cheating. Look hard enough will find the evidents in one condition the AG is not only working for him.
If find no evident, then using his quote in a similar way "American is better off without Bush".
Americans must take away their vested powers and kick out those children-killer republicans from the congress. They drag on that stupid "Bush war" by tax money and American lives.
To support the war is anti-American, To support the war is Anti-troops because Bush send Americans to a civil war to get killed. The Iraqis war makes millions of families displaced. Is it a requirement to get a democracy? It is only a nonsense.

What kids, and why should I be interested in some half-baked network "reality" show built for the stupid masses? Bush is dumb, but watchers of this show need a hobby, besides sitting on ass watching network crap.

The kids are right, George W Bush is dumb, but not as dumb as the middle class American voters that cast their ballot for him.

It is common knowledge that Bush is dumber than stale turds. But even the kids see how stupid he is. What does that say about the reich wing trolls crying here? Dumb as Bushit I wager.

If her parents also belive Bush is "not smart at all and he won the President two times in a row", that would indicate the politics of the parents are likely to be shared by their kids.

Hearing this I wonder if a lot of liberal women are even sadder now that they have had all those abortions?

After all is said and done they have eliminated probable like minded voters ...millions of them.

Ohhh I don't know about you, but all those cutie-little GOP wives always showed up at the PP clinic where I worked, needing an abortion "just this once". Well, sometimes twice.

Add to that, my sweetheart hubby is an atheist who respects the lives of women over that of an undifferentiated grouping of cells... and his parents were shove-it-down-your-throat Xtian. No surprise there--people like to make their own choices--it's called freedom, and once upon a time in America, it existed. Now, it is endangered by flat Earthers like you who want to privatize everything EXCEPT for your very socialist need to control/own women's uteruses... that is big government indeed.

Um, I support the court sytem in the USA and also a womans' right to chose - especially if she is a liberal hippie chick who got knocked up in a drug fueled haze and she can't identify the daddy. Better she get an abortion - and maybe a tube tying.

Hi Kelsey. Can you say "Swift Boated?" Of course you can! And so can our President, most of the time, if it's printed on a 3 X 5 card and he gets two or three takes. His good friend, Mr. Cheney, will get some men to fling horse manure at you. Be sure to duck! The President's other good friends, Mr. Rove and Mr. Gonzales would have helped too, but they hurt their backs with too much shoveling (ouch) and had to leave Washington so they could spend more time at home ignoring their families! People in Washington work real hard, just like you do at Kid Nation. Is there a Western Kid Nation where you can unwind on weekends and all summer? All the best, and check inside your boots each morning!

Damb, the frigging kid's smarter the the American Voters.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:40 PM on 10/19/2007

Ever watched "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" It would appear those kids really are smarter. And, to the producers, thank you for keeping that one in. We can only hope that Bush saw it. He commented a couple days ago that, "I veto to show that I am relevant." He is proof that relevancy, intelligence and education may not always go hand in hand.

Perhaps we can give these intelligent children faith in our democratic system by getting rid of the mindless moron who sits on the American Throne. When the kids call the president dumb, it's time to wake up and smell the coffee. IMPEACH.
