Huckabee is an interesting person; likeable and I think he's ethical, and I would vote for him to be my local pharmacist or dog catcher, no problem...even a mayor...but president? He is way too naive and as this shows, too likely to paint his picture with a brush just too wide to be articulate,presumably in hopes of sweeping the constituency away with the boldness of his strokes...even when they are obviously missing their target. That said it does look like he's running a campaign to be the vice presidential nominee for the GOP...

Statistically, the reason why much of crime is going down is because of abortions. It also reduces welfare and Medicare costs as well as additional pollution.

Christians fanatics have taken the Republican party too far and gotten to far into politics. Religion should be personal and not be forced onto others who disagree.

I can't imagine what those radicals would do it someone forced them to adhere to another religion like wear burkas.

Shmuckabee and his mindless minions get it wrong yet again. If there is any WW2 analogy to be made, it would be the striking similarities of fascist themes spewed by dictators then and dictator-wannabees right now.

Shmuckabee imagines himself the rightful leader of this insane clown parade while the competition for the job is still ongoing. The repuke candidates trying to outdo one another to secure the votes of the 30 percenters is a sad statement on where the country has gone. However,the world has seen this before as history repeats itself.

4.) "Would you torture and kill Jesus to ensure mankind"s salvation? And how does that work?"

However, considering 'The Holocaust' = genocide, albeit on a huge, absolutely repugnant scale, nonetheless, Huckabee evidently needs a dictionary. Regardless of how much he and his ilk may utterly disagree with very concept of abortions and a women's right to choose, to define the procedure, and/or choose, of abortion as an act genocide (def: the deliberate and systematic destruction of an ethnic, religious or national group) is claptrap and ridiculously inane.

I'll tell you what Huck, you and your minions can focus on this act of so-called genocide.

Meanwhile the rest of us will ignore this ridiculous diversion, and focus our concerns on the REAL atrocities happening in this world we live in: for instance the genocide currently ongoing in Darfur and the tragic poverty in Africa and the suffering of the African people. As well as the very real possibility that our unwelcome involvement in Iraq, M/E in general, is creating " and/or will in the future " a linear domino effect to the destruction of specific groups of people: Iraqi Sunnis and Kurds come to mind.

I was in a birthing class with a young lady who REALLY wanted children. Then she had an abortion during the second trimester.

She had an abortion because the fetus she was carrying failed to develop a brain. By most definitions, the fetus was alive. Heartbeating, all other organs functioning, etc. No baby with this conditions lives more than a few hours after birth, but it will be born alive and live for a few hours.

All the proposed laws that christians have written would force this poor woman to carry the fetus for five more months knowing the condition and that it would die soon after birth.

And that is monsterous.
