My previous entries mentioning this were deleted. The two most convincing "smoking guns" in my mind were the "Dancing Israelis" prepositioned to film the attacks, and the short selling of the airline stock. Both establish a foreknowledge. Both are verifiable fact.

I had more points in the comments deleted but will see if these at least make it through. I accuse HuffPo of acting in the manner of a "sayan."

There are huge holes in the official versions of the WTC and the Pentagon bombings and pointing them out is valid. It is dangerous, however, to concoct scenerios without proof. This what allows the media to be dismissive of questioners as "conspiracy theory nuts." Perhaps Lincoln was assassinated because he was against the Federal Reserve, but too often, theorists argue from the stance of "they know" when in fact no one does. You can say, perhaps BenGurian had JFK killed because Kennedy refused to give him nukes, but don't say, BenGurian had Kennedy killed because...­. See the difference? Others will argue just as vigorously that the CIA had him killed because he got on their case for poisoning boatloads of sugar from Cuba to Russia. Others will say JFK was killed by oilmen for freezing prices. Then there are strongly held opinions about mafia, racists, and more. People should question the phony coverups and keep hammering away but be careful how they present it.

It's sad that the USA has been duped. Take the recent comments by WisconSinnerCrat, for example. That individual has been conditioned into using childish namecalling and illogical reasoning instead of looking at evidence. A pity.

Did the Twin Towers "collapse"? No, they did not. Anyone thinking they did is either ignorant to the facts, unable to apply proper thinking, or a severe sufferer of cognitive dissonance. then the only conclusion is that America's SECURITY, DEFENSE and INTELLIGENCE institutions are grossly decadent and a major purge of these institutions should have followed. Because there was no purge, this indicates that the American public herself, right down to the smallest citizen is decadent rotten and stupid.

Maher is entitled to his opinion, as are the conspiracy theorists (and we bloggers). But his point, about which he was characteristically articulate, is that his show is not the forum for audience members to debate him. Those people are, to use a quaint, old fashioned term, extremely rude, and Bill was absolutely right to eject them. Bravo for him!

It seems we have two camps: those who question the official story and want to talk about facts like molten steel, freefall speed, Air Force stand-down and Hani Hanjour's poor abilities as a pilot.

Then there is the other camp, who don't even try to explain the many inconsistencies in the official story, but rely solely on hurling insults. Perhaps they think that we who are full of questions are so sensitive that childish namecalling will cause us to abandon our search for truth.

As to what he believes a good question would be why does he believe what he believes and why is he not willing to examine any other possiblities other than the one provided by Bush and Co. Why call others crazy for not believing and when challenged on his views he does not provide any info other than the flawed info provided by the ones he says to trust Bush & Co. If he was sceptical he would be open to other possibilities and not lump all of them into one box. Instead it's just that he is right and anyone else is crazy. It is a very Bush like response. While I am terribly disheartened by Bill Maher's response, you gotta admit he's in a tough spot.
Like most political junkies I try and read and watch everything related to politics in America. You bloggers of like mind will remember a few years ago how Bill was very aggressive with the manor which he espoused a populist line. Then beginning about 2 seasons ago, there was a marked change in his rhetoric. If you remember, all of a sudden he became a staunch supporter of zionism, even though he previously stated that he saw that regime as unreasonable in its negotiating approach. That was the first time I said.....m­an! the system got him. He fell so quickly into line regarding the middle east talking points that it terrified me. I like many of you was a HUGE fan of his and let that pass because I know given his heritage it seems reasonable that he would feel engendered to that side of the argument. No biggie in my eyes. But the 911 thing is the straw that broke the camels back for me.
Its almost painful to watch him compromise himself this way. You can almost see it killing him inside.
Don't doubt it people, he knows he's betraying us. And in his defense he doesn't like doing it. It will destroy him in the end, But like most other people who are co-opted by that which is profane, he has been made too comfortable to speak honestly.
