Whether or not "Clinton fatigue" plays any role in complicating Hillary Clinton's bid for the presidency, one thing seems clear: Americans are suffering from Clinton book fatigue.

This week, Random House releases "For Love of Politics" by best-selling biographer Sally Bedell Smith, which covers the Clintons' White House years. The policies on which they collaborated -- including budget-balancing, rewriting welfare, the failed push for universal health care and even foreign policies -- are background noise in a re-telling of the financial and sexual scandals that followed them from Arkansas to Washington.

"..one thing seems clear: Americans are suffering from Clinton book fatigue."

And how would this clown know what Americans are feeling?? He never leaves his little white republican enclaves.

Gosh, a WSJ article critical of a Clinton.
Sounds like wishful thinking to me... or more typically, no thinking at all.
Go Conservatives, you're doing a heck of a job!!

Hillary spent 20-30 years watching her husband cheat with every floozie in a skirt because she wanted to hold onto the power and prestige being married to him carried she "stood by" her man.

And for this she should be President? Why?

I don't admire long suffering Tammy Wynette types at all. I think their weak and immoral. She enabled her husband with his sex compulsion. Just like Jackie Onassis did.

These women are what's commonly called "climbers". They will leave footprints on your back as they climb to the top.

"Wow," Mr. Kerrey emailed after learning of the account. "This is lost from my memory bank. Whatever conversation I had (and I won't second guess the content of the Moynihan memo) it had to be more of a discussion of options than a recommendation. I would remember if I recommended he do this."

These politicians have the worst memories.

Better be careful with all the negative comments about HillBill.

You think Bush is nosey?

Rest assured she's keeping a log of all your IP addresses, and when HillBill is president, there's going to be hell to pay.

Literally. The Clinton's are big on revenge . . . .

I'm sick & tired of Hillary's flacks telling us how warm, humorous, & brilliant she is because all her close friends say so. I don't see any of it, and the push from the MSM about her inevitability to get the nomination just drives me crazy.

What a bunch of losers all the god damned Hillary hate when you don't known shit from apple butter including the blogger who posted this garbage.

Gosh let's see, Clinton fatigue? well, um.. there were 5 books put out this summer by Hillary haters who wanted to profit off her campaign thus writing their opinions of the facts of the Clinton's lives.. FIVE BOOKS THIS SUMMER ALONE.

When those books came out it was reported that a total of 7 books were known to be in the works to be put on the market about the Clintons in 2007.

THAT'S 7 BOOKS, 7 AUTHERS, 7 AGENDAS, IN 2007, all trying to profit off the Clintons.

Name one other person, one other family that has had 7 books written about them in 1 yr?

Name another woman who has been utterly smeared with campaigns full of lies and exaggerations of the truth, for 15 yrs the way Hillary has?

and while you're at it count the number of women who have worked since their college days for the betterment of families and children as she has and had to fight the scrutiny and ugliness that she's faced.

What an embarrassment it is to live in a nation of such hate, and such utter ignorance.

99.99999% of the Hillary haters don't know a god damned thing about her, and they sure as hell don't know her personally.

Oh boy the armchair generals who are experts on this woman's life that she's spent in the public domain, while her critics don't have 1/20th the resume she has.

OK, Hillary fan, I'm listening. Please tell me (without the name calling and obscenities, please) , exactly what has Hillary done that makes you such an ardent fan?

Was it her Health care fiasco in 1993--secret meetings and all? Was it her vote for the war in Iraq? Or recent vote for Kyl-Lieberman? Maybe you go way back to her years as first lady in Arkansas when she took on education, and Arkansas dropped from 48th to 49th in the nation? Maybe you're impressed with all of the money she gets from the insurance and drug industries?

I was an eager Hillary fan in 1992, and was quickly disillusioned. So please, help me understand the Hillary mystique, and be specific. I've talked to Hillary fans, and they never are specific.

There has been so many lies and personal attacks on Hillary that no one with half a brain would believe any of them. If she did half of what she has been accused of there would have been some sort of charges filed by now.

"Clinton fatigue"? "Alienates customers"?

What is wrong with HuffPost? The headline and picture have nothing to do with the article.

How do books "alienate customers"? Book store customers may not buy books but they certainly can't 'alienate them'. Get a dictionary.

People wake up Hillary is not a candidate for us. She will split the party. And her recent
action to stop the access of material in her past to write a book should be proof enough that she has lots to hide. She does come with a lot of baggage and you have forgotten.
Richardson does sound kosher to me. He is not in the top 3 and that makes it okay since all of them want to stay in Iraq past 2013.

Ok, let's hear what makes you think Senator Clinton stands out as a presidential candidate.

Instead of lobbing blow-back as a response, give us the real poop.

By the way the Rassmuessen poll is among Democrats only, the Zogby poll includes all likely voters.

For those who are sensitive when many have doubts about the governing skills of Bill's spouse, Senator Clinton they have to take notice of this "Clinton fatigue". Clinton's likability in a recent Zogby poll is the lowest of all candidates. This shows major squeamishness by the general voting public on electing her president of the United States.

This so called "fatigue" was tested recently here in Mass when Niki Tsongas was elected rep to Congress from Marty Meehan's old seat. She won by 51% of the vote. This margin came only from pluralities in 3 towns in her district. She lost in several towns and some by significant margins. The point: She was aided in her campaign by heavyweights of the Democratic party including Bill Clinton and the accompanying funding sources. In spite of this the win was unimpressive in a strongly Democratic state. This demonstrates a real microcosm of the voters disdain for the old Democratic guard. I might add her opposition had little name recognition and experience.

Ms. Clinton is intelligent and great at politics but is too close to the yesteryear part of the Democratic Party with lackluster governing skills. Hoping she will shine once in office is not a rational way to select candidates. For whatever reason she is not liked by half of the electorate.

Among the others in that same Zogby poll is Governor Bill Richardson whose credentials are strong(Governor, Ambassador, Energy Secretary, and former long term Congressman) with present achievements in governing in NM. His numbers in the poll show him with the highest likability rating of all candidates. With proper backing he is the more serious candidate to represent the Democratic party. However it will require a grass roots effort. He will get no support from the DLC wing of the Democratic Party. It will take human bodies and brains more than anything to elect him to office. If any of this rings true with any of you, join the campaign and help elect someone who can actually govern. Wouldn't that be refreshing for a change. www.richardsonforpresident.com

Time for Clinton to forget about writing more crap. It would sure be nice if he went back to his cigars and chubby women routine without spys these days. Surely he should be able to find someplace private this time.
