Ellen DeGeneres' latest doggy dealing wasn't the first time she'd passed along a pup she'd adopted, says a Los Angeles producer who gave the talk-show queen a pooch she quickly got rid of.

Kerri Randles says she gave DeGeneres a male mutt named Stormy two years ago, only to find out less than two months later that fickle Ellen had re-gifted him to a member of her staff.

"She may have had it for much less time than that. I only say two months because that's when I called to check on the dog and found out she no longer had it," Randles said. "I was totally shocked. I thought she was out of her mind."

She did a whole monolog one day last year where she said she fell in love with some puppy, and brought it home but gave it back a few days later. Does she think that puppies/dogs acclimate instantly when you bring them home? It takes time and effort.

The writer of this "expose" actually states that Howard Stern said... blah, blah, blah. Yeah, that a credible source... I'm sure he also mentioned that the dog was hot, hoped it would take of its top and probably wanted to have sex with it.

What an absurb article.

too damn bad we have never witnessed DeGeneres cry that hard for any of the Iraqi people who have been slaughtered due to her government.

I think too often "we" confuse a person's stage persona or character with the REAL PERSON.
Most "comedians" are pretty trippy people in real life with some severe neuroses.
If these people weren't celebs, but just your neighbor or co-worker, you would probably think they were the weirdest people you knew.

Although I don't watch her show, I think

Good luck Ellen.

This is so bizarre. Ellen Degeneres cries over a dog, a puppy. And she is covered in every newspaper, on every TV show, every blog. I assume she felt bad that she didn't want to keep the puppy, and felt happy that she found him another home, and didn't want to think of him being homeless. She couldn't bear to think of this little animal being alone in the world, being hurt, not having a home or a "mommy."

And half the country is following this story, all with their own concern about this little puppy. Iggy. Is that his name?

We have a President and V.P. who have murdered hundreds of thousands of people. You'll never see them or their supporters shed a tear, miss a meal, hesitate for a moment in launching new murderous attacks. But Americans don't seem to understand that we are actually killing people in these wars.

Maybe if we explained to the country that when the U.S. starts wars against others, we're actually killing the puppies along with the babies and grandmas -- maybe then people would care about it.

We could ask the people of Iraq to send us photos of their puppies, with Americanized names, like Molly. Then tell us where they live (the dog, not the people), and what kind of toys they have. Then if the U.S. bombs them, or Blackwater sends assassination crews in to murder dozens of the people in their community - ask someone to send us a picture of the dead puppy.

We would print posters, bumper stickers, e-mail attachments with a picture of Bush/Cheney's faces and then a cute shot of the dead puppy, maybe her head head mostly severed, with the text at the bottom: They killed Molly. End the War Now.

If we wanted to both end the war and have a revolution in which all Republicans are subject to punishment by Madam DuFarge, we would distribute a picture of a dead Iraqi kitty. Puppy people are kind and warm. Cat people are fierce.

As the "first pet" of the Clinton era, Socks, the White House cat, allowed "chilly" Hillary Clinton to show a caring, maternal side as well as bringing joy to her daughter Chelsea. So where is Socks today?

Once the presidency was over, there was no room for Socks anymore. After years of loyal service at the White House, the black and white cat was dumped on Betty Currie, Bill Clinton"s personal secretary, who also had an embarrassing clean-up role in the saga of his relationship with intern Monica Lewinsky.

Is Socks still alive? Just curious.....

Welp, that did it. Now I hate the Clintons. I'm officially withdrawing as a democrat and registering as a republican. (Gee, I guess they really do have us liberals all figured out, huh?).

Speaking of first ladies, what is Laura ON??? Morphine? Maybe Ellen can borrow some so she can tolerate a dog for more than a week?

Yeah, then they had Zeke and Buddy whacked. If Hillary is elected, animals will die. Is that what you want, people?

Ellen has been ridiculous. A friend's child got attached to a new dog for a few days, and she acts like someone died. I don't give full credence to a lot of the trash the Post publishes, but, if true, I believe Ellen is as neurotic as this person believes, given her over the top behavior lately. Dogs are adaptable; if that puppy has a good home now, Ellen was way over the top with her reactions.

Anyone know where I can get a Cairn Terrier puppy?

Lets evaluate this for a second:

1: an out and highly successful lesbian talkshow host, loved by millions of viewers

2: An hysterical and paranoid "Christian" culture that believes that all of societies ill are caused by 'those people' (read: blacksjewsgaysmuslimsimmigrants.. anybody but themselves)

3: A reichwing-controlled media

Anyone surprised by the amount of attention being focused on this?

Nope! Not surprised one bit.
This is one of the dumbest, dullest "controversies" I could ever imagine.

I love the gays but that's not what this is about. She has (had?) a successful DAYTIME talk show despite being open about her sexuality. Ellen made a mistake here. She's media savvy and she knows how this stuff works. She tried to use her celebrity power to punish someone and people saw through it. I wish it would be mentioned more that the adoption agency attempted to let the family adopt the dog, in person (two hour drive the family did not want to make) and online and only after the family refused the agency took the dog away, rightfully so. The real story is that because of our wacky media we don't get any news. Ellen should cry about that.

I am surprised at how hysterical and paranoid you are. Well, not really. Huffpo: moonbat central.

I posted this when this crucial story broke last week:

I saw a replay of Ellen and I have to say she was acting, although pretty badly. Totally phony.

In the report Ellen stated that she was going to pressure Moms and Mutts via her show until they gave in and gave the dog to the second family.

It also went on to say that Ellen gave the dog away because it did not get along with her cat! Didn't Ellen think about that BEFORE she adopted the dog? How many dogs get along with cats?

I am sure Ellen was told that she could not give the dog away by this organization as I have rescued two animals from two different organizations and I was told both times.

If I were Moms and Mutts I would slap Ellen with a cease and desist order to shut her up. Ellen signed a contract and made the mistake not Moms and Mutts. If this second family wants a dog let them adopt another dog from a different agency through the proper channels.

Now the story is "bad adoption agency" instead of "Ellen adopted a rescue animal and doesn't want it anymore!!!"

Grow up people and throw off the propaganda. Liberate your mind.

I got slammed for this post. But as you can see the truth shall set you free...

Lots of dogs get along well with cats... I've got four dogs and many cats, and often find a 100 lb. dog grooming a cat, or a cat asleep between a dog's paws. You can't tell what a dog's personality will be like until it's older, though. If you need a dog which gets along with cats, go to a shelter and specifically look for one with that characteristic. Don't get a puppy and then impatiently wish the puppy would stop chasing the cats around.

PS..and by the way, Randles et al; who is more neurotic? The person who has leveraged their personal quirks into an empire or the lonely person who is ready to elevate a suspected case of what might amount to a mild case of dog abuse into a national emergency? There are genuine things about which to be concerned...I suggest you find one of those and Ellen's problems will quickly sink back into proportion and anonymity.

I love animals and it's sad when people confuse them for either mere objects or human beings. They are animals, as such we look like idiots when we treat as something they aren't. Ellen's giving those dogs to others is no crime and actually put dogs into the homes of owners who we must presume are normal enough to keep a pet,and if they aren't, it's hardly up to a bunch of people with no other qualifications than they claim to love dogs and pets more than the others do...the road to hell is paved with good intentions but please don't let that stop you from using your common sense to bring a little happiness into the world for others.
In the mean time, i hope Ellen starts going to the city pounds and ignores the boutique pet matching causes.
