E! News:

Some former Britney Spears' pals are calling for a blackout on Blackout--at least until the singer cleans up her act.

"Our message is simple," says one of the organizers of the Be Proactive to Help Website. "Don't buy her stuff until she's better."

Maybe the only way to wake this girl up, is to hit her in the wallet. Nothing else seems to get through to her, not losing her kids, not being made a laughing stock, nothing. Maybe if her album does poorly from this 'movement' she will take her life and her career seriously.

Oh they will go on t.v. (for a fee) and discuss how "concerned" they are and don't buy her record (probably because she fired them).

Pathetic.

Well this has made up my mind, I'm going to buy Brit's CD whether I like it or not. I'm sure I will as I admit to being a fan and I have some of her other recordings.

I remember a young Asian man I were working together some years ago (while we were all still carrying around CD players), and we both admitted to each other that Britney's first CD was both our guilty pleasure.
