Rush Limbaugh Gushes Over Erin Burnett

Joe Scarborough finally nabbed Rush Limbaugh for Morning Joe, and, naturally, Scarborough wanted to get right into politics. But Limbaugh wasn't quite ready. Rush's segment followed a few minutes after Erin Burnett's daily business report for Joe and she was still connected to the MSNBC control room:

Scarborough: Let's talk about the Republican field... Limbaugh: Wait a minute, Joe. Before you go there, I have to say something. I heard Erin Burnett sounding a little wifey, Erin, you said you're gonna be listening. I love listening to myself, but it's great to know you're listening to me too. Nobody can big foot you, Erin... Burnett: I got bigfooted out, that's what happened Rush. Limbaugh: The truth is that anybody that follows you, Erin, can't match what you've done. Burnett: Thank you, Rush. Scarborough: That is big. Getting that from Mr. Excellence in Broadcasting right there. Burnett: You made my day. I'm done now, I'm going home.

Erin Burnett and Rush Limbaugh deserve each other. They are both right-wing nutjobs.

Joe was wrong to trash O'Reilly but let Limbaugh off the hook.

As for the Lori Klausutis conspiracy, was Joe a suspect? No. Is he currently under investigation? No. Is there any evidence that he had anything beyond a boss/employee relationship with the aid? No. Did Joe announce he was resigning two months BEFORE the aide died? Yes. Has any legitimate left-wing news media like The Nation or Mother Jones or Air America taken any interest in this story? No. Has the aid's loved ones accepted that her death was an accident? Yes, and they recently told The Miami Herald they did. Move on people and stop causing this woman's family unnnecessary pain.

I didn't see this because I don't watch that stupid Joe show but Erin Burnett is annoying. I don't like her at all on CNBC and to think these guys are fawning over her is revolting.

Actually, I don't think Scarborough "nabbed" Limbaugh. Mr. Limbaugh is a pompous blowhard who rarely gives interviews. Limbaugh owed Scarborough. Notice, at the end of their conversation, Rush than Scarborough for all his support over the last three years. Scarborough and his sidekick Willie Geist (previously seen canoodling with the host of Tucker Carlson's extemely low rated show) ran a totally distorted editing of Limbaugh degrading "phony soldiers" comment and told audiences the lie that Limbaugh was talking about a specific individual. Geist went so far as to claim he read the transcript. Any honest reading of the transcript shows that Geist and Scarborough's claim was pure BS spin.
As for Burnett, she's simply a pretty, moderately capable young woman who knows upon what side of the bread her butter lies, though her Rush gush was rather stomach turning.

I'll never forget the footage of him introducing his last wife (divorced) by patting the side of his leg like you would encouraging a pet dog on the stage. Yeah, I'll bet these professional women would realllllly love....Rush.
