Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton may have a widening lead in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, but John Edwards is not about to give her a free ride.

"Instead of moving from primary mode to general election mode, why don't we have tell-the-truth mode, all the time, and not say something different one time than we say another time?" Edwards asked pointedly last week in New Hampshire.

Blah blah blah.

Edwards would be a has-been if he had ever been somebody in the first place.

After an undistinguished single term as a Senator, Edwards has not done a goddamn thing but continually run for President.

He's irrelevant and will be gone after he loses Iowa.

actually you have no clue. He did plenty of litigating prior to becoming a Senator winning judgements against large powerful corporations for regular folks. You are right he is not much of a washington insider which is what we need. He takes no k street money, will raise taxes on the rich people, reform the health mess and get us out of iraq. The rest of them(democrats and republicans) are tied with the washington elite and will do nothing except help out their rich pals who gave them campaign cash. edwards 08

Associated Press: NCAE Backs Edwards' White House Bid !

By Mike Baker, The Associated Press

RALEIGH [N.C.]-- "The N.C. Association of Educators has endorsed Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards' White House bid, the third time the organization has backed one of his campaigns for federal office.

The association, which represents 70,000 educators and retirees in Edwards' home state, said his "comprehensive education plans" will help the Democrat compete in battleground states."

I AM voting for John Edwards.

GO JOHN EDWARDS!

Biden is gaining traction in Iowa. He recieved the first newspaper endorsement of the race this weekend.David Yespen predicted he'd be in the top 3 in Iowa.

Good for former Senator Edwards in making progress but I don't believe Trippi had anything to do with the success.

Biden, also, looks like a great President but his campaign rating is too low in the polls. Too bad.

And Sen. Obama is suffering from much of what former Senator Edwards has been suffering from and that is listening to too many campaign "quarterbacks."

Candidates should: Do and say what they know and sincerely mean.
