Taser Profits Surge On Sales Of Consumer Model

We are clearly a nation that treasures the concept of safety, because Taser International, Inc. reported a 150% increase in sales from last year that's due almost entirely to its redesigned consumer model, which now looks more like an electric shaver instead of a gun and comes in pink, blue, silver, or black. The company plans to start airing an infomercial later this year, so look for that on those late nights in December when all the Christmas programming has got you down.

When the civil unrest, and there will be civil unrest, comes during the next recession/depression you will be thankful for a medium/short range weapon designed only to incapacitate and not kill.

There are many who never recover from taking a human life so this is an option that increases your chance of surviving an encounter for those to squemish to pack a gun let along pull it's trigger.

Oh for godsakes. Tasers in the hands of consumers. There's still 25 million yahoos in this country that think dick and george are sliced bread. The last thing we need is more weapons in their hands.

They will be misused and should at the very least be licensed and require one self shock.
