Disney, BoA Donate Millions In Fire Aid

Posted: Updated:

The Walt Disney Co. pledged Wednesday to contribute $2 million to restore burned areas and help victims of the Southern California wildfires, while Bank of America pledged $1 million in aid.

Starting Thursday, Disney said it would provide $200,000 in donations to the American Red Cross for immediate relief efforts.

The rest of the money would be distributed later on a case-by-case basis to groups for rebuilding and restoration efforts, which might include replanting trees or replacing burned parks and community centers.
