Bill Clinton Shouts Down 9/11 Conspiracy Theorists

Former President Bill Clinton responded aggressively on Tuesday when his speech at a fundraiser for his wife's campaign was interrupted by 9/11 conspiracy protesters.

"A fraud? No, it wasn't a fraud," Clinton said, responding to one of the hecklers as the audience cheered. "I'll be glad to talk to you if you shut up and let me talk." Another protester yelled that the attacks were an "inside job."

"An inside job? How dare you. How dare you. It was not an inside job," Clinton said. "You guys have got to be careful, you're going to give Minnesota a bad reputation."

This conspiracy theory sounds more plausible everyday, when I look around and see what happens to this country. They really needed something big to justify the grab of power. Do you think that without 9/11, which "changed everything" as Cheney kept telling us, they could go to Congress and ask them to trash the Constitution? And there is do doubt in my mind that trashing the Constitution was in the plan.

I used to believe this theory was too far out, but not anymore, when I see how much more far out the Administartion has gone.

What is so offense to some people that this country is not capable of conspiracies. How are we immune to corrupt political forces. Let's look at a few items:

Months before, 9/11 Bush was pushing for illegal wire tapping. Video of the explosion have been examined for squibs and they are noted as evidence that the implosions were not caused by the buckling of steel from heat. Demolition experts have concluded from watching these videos that it was exactly demolition jobs.

Eyewitness reports from people who worked in the building on the weekend before the explosions that crews were seen working on the "electrical systems," were crushed and ignored by the press.

Why should the Bin Laden family need to be whisked away instead of being held for questioning and information for leads. Do people really believe that a mob of crazies were going to hunt them down and therefore they had to flee for their own safety. What part of absurdity so some American don't understand?

No bid contracts? Bush's pimps waiting in line for business in Iraq to control the entire area. Well, my friends it all back fired on these hyenas, because the world is no longer sitting pretty and sucking wind while America rapes where ever it needs to take for itself.

I agree that there was a great deal of incompetency involved in 9/11, but you have to remember that presidential daily brief specifically regarding Bin Laden attacking the US.

And that is why no heads rolled of course. It would have shone too much light on the incompetence at the topmost level. And the one thing that this administration never EVER has done is to admit a mistake.

But this is where the conspiracy theorists have their biggest problem. That this supposedly incompetent bunch of fools pulled off a covert act of impossible complexity: Rig not one but two buildings of a height never before brought down by a controlled demolition. Earlier in the thread, I recommended Scholars for 9/11 Truth, also an excellent Site. it is very obvious that many of the posters here, especially the ones who refer to Truthers as the loony left, etc. have not read the information on these two Sites and other excellent Sites. There are also disinformation Sites and Looney Theory Sites, (which i believe are also disinformation Sites) so I guess some get caught by that.

Also, consider this study in terms of the 30 % or so who still staunchly believe the official story--also a conspiracy theory: We first presented one slide with something good about their candidate, then the next slide presents him contradicting himself or showing something slimy he's done. Then we asked them to consider whether or not there's a contradiction. We found that partisans did a wonderful job of standing by their man. They were able to twirl the cognitive kaleidoscope until it came up with emotionally gratifying results, and they ended up believing whatever they wanted to believe.
