New York Daily News:

Gerald Ford was disturbed by Bill Clinton's skirt-chasing ways - and thought he should check into a sex addiction clinic.

I wonder if Big Balls Bill saw Ford as a Big Boob. LBJ: Ford played football without a helmet for too long; Nixon: can you see jerry ford sitting in this (oval office) chair? Pardon me, Mr. President. Pardon? Why not pardon everybody who broke the law? Oh right pardoning Nixon was for the good of the country, but think of all the money we'd save from not jailing those marijuana users? Perhaps if they wore suits....

I'd rather have a sex addict as president than one addicted to war, not peace.

Quite astute for a dead man.

Frankly, I don't care how many chippys Bill Clinton slammed, that's Hillary's problem.

The way he screwed the American people with WTO and NAFTA is what concerns me.

If you read during Clinton's presidency, it was obivious he has a sexaul addiction. He is actually a sexual preditor since he enjoys the danger of being caught and being a bit rough. This is noting new, maybe surprised that Ford would use any brain cells dwelling on Clinton's ways.

The decision to pardon Nixon won Ford a John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award in 2001, and Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, acknowledging he had criticized Ford at the time, called the pardon "an extraordinary act of courage that historians recognize was truly in the national interest."

Jerry Ford was a fine public servant. A man who gave alot for his country. Why don't you try to give 1/10th to society as what he gave. Instead of criticizing the man. He liked Clinton's talent. And liked Bill as a person, also. And he knew first-hand how difficult the job of president is. Also, he wasn't fond of Hillary. Whether right or wrong, that was his view.

History can be much kinder to a former President than it can be to a current President, and clearly Ford gets a bit rosier remembrance postmortem. It does make me wonder how history will remember George W. Bush in 20 years. Obviously most of us think it won't be nearly so kind.

I think Ford does have a point about President Clinton. An otherwise well-liked, effective President consistently engaging in behavior that is risky makes a hell of an argument for addiction. I'd rather be know as a skirt chaser than a war monger though, given a choice....

I read recently that Ford was worth almost $2 billion when he passed away. That kind of floored me---who know the guy was worth that much?

Clinton's Cock, Clinton's Cock, Clintons Cock!!

That is all that counts to the right wing. It is an obsession.

Calm down. Jerry had it right.
11:26 AM on 10/29/2007
you know, we probably wouldn't be in the mess were in now if jerry didn't grant the pardon's of all those guilty in the watergate scandal.

but yes, jerry, demonizing consensual sex, that's bad too.

The Republicans have built their entire PR campaign on a single blowjob for the past 10 years.

You'd think by NOW they'd have something more to work with.

Looking back over history, it appears all the GREAT Presidents had overactive libidos, no?

STOP - STOP - STOP
Stop attacking anyone who admits to the fact that Bill Clinton is a Sex Addict, we all knew this so why are we attacking Pres. Ford. Remember it was Bill Clinton who called Ford for his help when Clinton was going through his impeachment trial.
Why is everyone acting like Bill Clinton ENABLERS, he already has one enabler and her name is Hillary Clinton. At least Hillary has a mission and that is to be in the White House, that is why she indulges Bill Clinton.
Now what is your excuse for enabling Bill Clinton
11:14 AM on 10/29/2007
if anyone knows about immoral, unethical and illegal behavior while President, it's Ford. He pardoned Nixon for god's sake.

Ford couldn't manage to walk down the stairs without stumbling, yet he imagined himself a clinical psychologist. What a joke. Predictably, the psychotic Clinton haters latch on to this armchair analysis because it's as insipid and idiotic as they are.

Repig clowns couldn't get a life then and can't get one now. As the saying goes, they can't even run their own life while they abjectly declare the divine right to run everyone elses.

Gerald Ford was a decent man who loved his country, his wife, and his family. Which is more than I can say about Bill Clinton. Ford not only spoke about values but he lived by them. Maybe he wasn't the sharpest knife in the shed, but he was smart enough to keep his wick dry. I certainly did not agree with his decision to pardon Nixon, but he basically gave up a chance at a second term to try to bring the country together again. He did what he thought was right and he sacrificed his own political future for the country, which is more than the Clintons ever did for this country. He was "old school" I respect him for that.

THERE IS NO GEORGE BUSH WITHOUT BILL CLINTON. It was Bill Clinton failings as a man that spawned George "W" Bush. Clinton is just as responsible as anyone for 9-11 and the Iraqi War. Without Monicagate we have President Gore right now. putz

Gerald Ford was an immoral shill appointed by Noixon and his gang of crooks to pardon them. He was a petty crook/puppet quisling who served at the pleasure of the real crooks. In effect, he was the protiotype for George w. Bush.
12:48 PM on 10/29/2007
He was a decent man, who made a horrible president.

Are you too young to remember WIN?

We've had our share of good men who made bad presidents- now we are lucky enough to have a terrible person, who makes a terrible president. When will we have a great man, who makes a great president again?

While the alleged addiction of Clinton is being discussed here it might be well to look at another form shown in the paragraphs of this civil Complaint. The slack-jawed, pathetic Dupes on this board relishing Ford's comments won't appreciate the details of this pleading (that is, those who can read) because it involves one of their idols.

It is lengthy but interesting. The case was ultimately settled for, as I recall, the "nuisance value" of around $5 million.
