Sen. Joe Biden nails Rudy Giuliani during Tuesday's MSNBC debate: "And the irony is, Rudy Giuliani, probably the most underqualified man since George Bush to seek the presidency, is here talking about any of the people here. Rudy Giuliani... I mean, think about it! Rudy Giuliani. There's only three things he mentions in a sentence -- a noun, a verb, and 9/11. There's nothing else! There's nothing else! And I mean this sincerely. He's genuinely not qualified to be president."

The same Biden who stood on the Senate floor and bragged that he graduated at the top of his class in law school (televised on C-SPAN) but actually graduated 8th from the bottom (76th out of 85 students).

No credibility.

Maybe but it was still a great sound bite and it was still true of gulianni's rhetoric.

Guiliani's bellicosity is paid for by the Israeli lobby, the last guys standing in supporting apartheid in South Africa. They also own McCain and Clinton. On a personal level Mr. ToughGuy, Guiliani, is just another chicken hawk with a Yankee cap on. He ought to take that cap off or the Yankees will lose fans because of it. He ought to stop ratcheting up the war rhetoric or the neocons will become even more unpopular, if that's possible.

Everybody says Ghouliani should be president because of "what he did on 9-11".

I am still trying to figure out just what did he do on 9-11?

The guy is a fraud - I know lots of New Yorkers that can't stand the guy

he took a walk downtown, and then threw the firemen out of the ground zero excavation site the day after the gold was recovered. Buy Gold. Hedge against the coming monetary plunge.

I have been to three speeches by Rudy in the last several years and he never metions 9/11. He generally discusses the things he fixed in NYC like traffic congestion, unemployment and welfare reform, crime reduction, tax reduction, and the the things he tried to fix but couldn't like the NYC school system. I have lived in NY all my life and lived in NYC for 7 years. There is no question that there has been an incredible positive metamorphasis of the planet's capital since Rudy and now the moderate Republican/Democrat? Bloomy. I think we can all meet half-way on a lot of the issues that affect NYC.

As Mayor with a $30M plus budget he should have done something. That does not qualify him to be President.

Those who vote for Rudy are voting for more war in the Mideast...

Compared to Abe Beame, David Dinkins and Ed Koch his effectiveness was amazing.

He solved a lot of problems.

Did Giuliani know about 9/11 in advance? Was he a 9/11 insider? Find out for yourself by viewing the excellent two-minute video at the link below:

Check out the evidence while you still can. Censorship throughout the media is increasing and can be expected to intensify further if and when the Pentagon attacks Iran.

Stop a moment to think when we castigate the heartless corporations for their ownership of the American democratic system. Corporations are shells. They have highly overpaid executives and make obscene amounts of money, particularly the petroleum interests. But follow the money. Corporations are owned by shareholders who share the profits. These people are your family, friends, neighbors and millions of strangers. Do we hear of stockholders picketing corporation interests, particularly their own? Are oil company stockholders up in arms at the billions flowing in to their coffers? While they pay through the nose at the pumps, the oil profits rush in to till the empty purse. Personal and group selfishness and greed at the fuels which propel humanity forward day to day. Nowhere is this more evident that in the foregoing process.
As Pogo said, We have seen the enemy and it is us!

Taan--Speak for yourself! The overwhelming majority of people are not major shareholders of any corporations.

The money that people invest in their 401K plan goes where? Does it just sit in a bank and accrue interest? How about the retirement funds for the Unions, does that money sit in the bank as well and accrue interest?

I agree with Biden. I have said this before and I will say it again, Rudy has no chance in hades to be the Republican nominee.

If he is the nominee, I will eat crow that is if one of you will kill one and cook it for me.

Saying that all Biden can run is his mouth, that is VERY personal. Rudy did not have anything intelligent to say instead he resorted to elementary school tactics.

It is amazing that in a country of over 300 million people Rudy is leading the Reps, because almost anyone in the other 299,000,000 would be a better candidate. This seems to be a basic truth that becomes clearer day by day -- the elementary fact is that being MAYOR OF NEW YORK is not really a big deal inasmuch as the boroughs pretty much run themselves. THE VAST VAST majority of people in Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx absolutely never go to Times Square and could care less about Rudy's famous claim to have cleaned up all the girls on 7th Avenue, and those few that do go elsewhere. Rudy 'RAN' very little as the budget is pretty much preset, and any claim he makes to the contrary is delusional. This is not surprising because he is obviously capable of doing very little but SMILE...HE is out of his league talking down Joe BIDEN WHO KNOWS MORE ABOUT THE RELEVANT ISSUES THAN RUDY COULD EVER EVEN IMAGINE. RUDY SHOULD run for MAYOR of West Hollywood or San Francisco and go door to door askng for votes and SMILING....!!!

actually, he overextended the budget and left bloomberg in the hole when he took over city hall.

as for 9/11 what exactly did he do? the firemen were going into the towers and pulling people out or getting killed. the only acts he performed were questionable ones, before and after.

NYC relies on tourism. The above statement alone discredits you. The truth is that NYC became cleaner, safer, and more civilized under Guiliani. In the process he pissed a lot of people off. As for Joe Biden, he is a career politician with no executive experience whatsoever. He indeed is a bag of hot air.

If you didn't know the crime rate in San Fran is soaring this year. Forcing Gavin Newsome to blame George Bush for his cities troubles. If you go out to the Avenues, where the real people live, I have a feeling that Guiliani and his commitment to crime fighting would be welcomed.

Well Joe, the way I was raised, it is ungentlemanly to pick on a lady, so careful on what you say about guliani. Oh, you can pick on his choice of dresses, the stilleto high heels he loves to wear, or even the obviously oversized bras he wears, but don't stir up the neo-cons who love him for the beautiful pictures of him at ground zero. Those pictures make him a hero they say.

Though I must admit watching Dems eat their own is entertaining ;-)
