For the second presidential debate in a row, Hillary Rodham Clinton can expect to be everyone's punching bag. This time she'll be on the stage to defend herself.
Republicans ganged up on the New York senator during their debate last week in Florida, knowing that was a good way to energize the GOP base. Democrats are criticizing Clinton because she's the candidate to beat in their own primary.

Hillary must REALLY piss Obama off...because she doesn't ONCE acknowledge that he is alive.
Notice:
She NEVER mentions Obama's name, first or last
She NEVER looks at him directly
She looks "through" him like he isn't there
She NEVER mentions anything about him.
NO WONDER OBAMA IS SO PISSY AT HILLARY!

Incidentally Hillary DID get the most questions! And you should have seen the hysterical Matthews, the manly Andrea Mitchell and the feminine Howard Fineman drool as they attacked Hillary. The funny part was when Biden was asked by Fineman if he could trust her judgement if "she was wrong on Iraq and wrong on Iran"?! He was hoping Biden would play into his game of "gotcha" but poor fella's face turned into a pig's backside when Biden iterated and REiterated that Hillary was NOT wrong on Iraq! That it was Bush who conned the Congress and misused the essence of the resolution ... LOL

It was Edwards who had the defining moments of clarity. He distinguished himself from Sir Hillary. While I like Senator Obama, I feel that he is not ready for the prime time. He seems tentative and tepid. Edwards time and again showed poise and demonstrated how he stands for something different than a Bush lite.
Edwards did well. Biden and Dodd, too.
Russert needless to state, is a Republican hack and even in the last debate his goal seemed to be a game of "gotcha" with Hillary
Nevertheless, you know you ARE the front runner when your opponents on both sides of the aisle, define themselves by attacking you! Hillary's campaign has been prepared for this and her opponent's desperation shows!

It was terrible that Arianna arranged for Edwards and Obama to attack Hillary.

For all their talk about change and transparency, I sure am disappointed that none of the candidates mentioned peak-oil when talking about our energy-dependencies. None of these candidates showed a willingness to stand up and give us any truth on the real issues behind the headlines. Shame.

Blame it on the media. MSNBC labeled the debate FIGHT IN PHILY. There were so many important issues which could and should have been discussed but the media doesn't care about light just heat.
Senator Joseph Biden was the only candidate, this debate, who dared insert new perspectives relative to Pakistan vs. Iran as global threats and also provide an insightful summation of Giuliani's stunted grasp of all issues, foreign and domestic.
