Three lead defendants in the 2004 Madrid train bombings were found guilty of mass murder and other charges Wednesday but four other top suspects were convicted on lesser charges and an accused ringleader was completely acquitted.

The verdicts were a partial victory for prosecutors, with 21 of the 28 people on trial convicted on at least some charges. Seven got off entirely, including an Egyptian who prosecutors said had bragged that he masterminded the March 11, 2004 blasts, which killed 191 people and injured more than 1,800.

This is Spain folks!

The country that wants priests
from the war "sanctified"

while they are still finding
mass graves of Franco's
victims.

Opus Dei, folks.

Be afraid.

This trial was not about 9/11
and the enemies of America.

It was about other issues.

One of the more confused countries
in Europe.
Despite all the favorable press
they've been getting of late.

That they still pay homage to Franco,
en masse,
should be a clue to all.

This bombing was engineered by British intelligence. Even the British people beleive it.

Stop using the bush smear description of the "mastermind" as alleged . The man was acquited and the judgement of a real court should be respected as such.

Kudos to Spain. That's how it should be done. Capture the suspects, try them in the court of law, and punish those found guilty.

We should try that approach some day, rather than invading and bombing countries, and causing an increase rather than a decrease in the number of terrorists around the world.

Islamist terrorism will virtually disappear if the West takes the following actions:

(1) Through policy changes and concrete actions, convince and demonstrate to the world that we are not out to occupy land and control natural resources of other countries.

(2) Make Israel withdraw from all occupied territories.

In other words, the solution to terrorism is that we obey international laws. Without any bloodshed, it would solve the problem.

Why Pakistan's estimated 20,000 madrassas are the country's biggest jihad threat.

"Pakistan's problem child recites the Koran," by Colin Freeman in the Telegraph:

Like many younger pupils at Karachi's Jamia Binoria madrassa, 12-year-old Imran Mohammed is a shy, quietly spoken child who is all but tongue-tied in front of his elders. One thing can get him talking though " for hours if need be.

"God is one and he is our creator," he intones, his faltering voice suddenly breaking into fluent Arabic. "He has not given birth of anyone, nor did anyone give birth of him."

It is a verse from the Koran, a tiny part of four entire chapters he has learnt by heart since arriving at the madrassa. Four chapters is roughly 60 pages, and to recite it fully " as he can do " takes up to two hours.

However, when it comes to non-religious learning, such as the alphabet or multiplication tables, Mohammed is somewhat behind for his age. Asked to add 10 and 11 together, he uses his fingers to reach the right answer, and the only words he can write are his own name and his father's.

That, though, is what makes Pakistan's estimated 20,000 madrassas the country's biggest threat. By teaching religion to the exclusion of almost everything else, they are blamed for training a generation of youngsters whose only job prospects lie in preaching and zealotry ans fueling Islamic fundamentalism.

The more militant madrassas are also accused of recruiting volunteers for the Taliban and al-Qaeda, among them Britons such as Shehzad Tanweer and Mohammed Sidique Khan, who are thought to have attended them before going on to commit the July 7 London bombings in 2005.

Jury shown UK 'terror training camp' footage

By Gary Cleland
1:05am GMT 29/10/2007

Members of a gang accused of terrorist training used al-Qa'eda fighting techniques at a camp in the New Forest, a court heard.

Five men, allegedly led by Mohammed Hamid, 50, are on trial accused of various roles involving running or attending terrorist training camps in the UK.

The court has heard how four men convicted of the July 21 failed bombings attended camps and meetings organised by Hamid.

Hamid, of Clapton, east London, denies providing weapons and terrorist training, soliciting murder and possessing terrorist documents.

Mousa Brown, 41, of Walthamstow, east London, denies providing and receiving weapons training. Da Costa, of West Norwood, south east London, denies providing and attending terrorist training and possessing terrorist documents.

Mohammed Al-Figari, 42, of Tottenham, north London, denies attending terrorist training and possessing terrorist information. Kader Ahmed, 20, of Plaistow, east London, denies attending terrorist training.

The incident at a hospital in Manchester last week has sparked fears that a terror cell may have set up a chemical bomb factory.

A medical source told The Daily Telegraph: "Officers have alerted every force and every accident and emergency unit in the country. They believe a group may have succeeded in making the gas and could use it in an attack."

The source added: "Staff were alerted because it takes several days to develop symptoms, by which time it is too late to treat them, but before they could get more details the man left the hospital."

hmmm, no doubt also CIA/Mossad false flag operation, right knee-jerk paranoics?

An excellent book on the terrorism that is perpetrated by the various "intelligence" organizations is "9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA," by Webster Griffin Tarpley. In the USA we pay 40 billion a year for the CIA alone. These agencies don't just take our money and put it in a bank somewhere. They use it to wreak havoc all over. Another good source regarding the same phenomenon as it pertains to Iraq is available at the link below:

If we hadn't invaded Iraq this terrible event would have never happened. After the trial in question, a jurist said, to the effect, that Spain may have to change the rules of evidence to defeat terrorism, etc. If we hadn't invaded Iraq that thought might have never passed through his mind. Multiply this by hundreds of thousands.

Amazing, eh?

As successful as we are in this War On Terra, it's always some other country with the frog marches.

They actually get their terroristic terrorisms of terror... and in relatively short time span, no doubt.

Meanwhile, our leaders would shove a stick up Osama's dead carcASSe to prop it to life if it meant they got to use the terror card for another day and another "opportunity".

Read about how the CIA has sponsored terrorism in Europe since the end of WWII:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Gladio

The Madrid and London bombings have all the hallmarks of Gladio-type operations. Typical "false flags."
13 CIA agents have been indicted in Italy for illegal operations within the "war on terror" frame...
