If these people are being picked up in the US-then this seems to be illegal under states extradition rights.

Here's another reason a military person should NOT head up a civilian agency. When we get a D in the WH this guy's got to go and the agency needs to be cleaned and fumigated.

I guess they believe rendition makes us more like the Stalinist Soviet Union or Nazi Germany and those guys were able to keep people in line, right? I never grew up thinking that a government that would make people vanish could be the good guys. That was always the role of the villain. It's a sad state of affairs we've come to. It's bad enough when our government does bad things. It worse when some people like it.

At the expense of our beloved constitution and our national character and reputation! Not to mention the fact that one should wince at the idea of kidnapping and oppression. This is NOT something this country needs nor is it something desirable under any circumstances if we are to be who we say we are. Once again the framers spin in their graves. Imagine a CIA director who is just beside himself with glee about all of this! Imagine a president run amok supporting the DCI in this ghastly stalinesque obscenity.

Of course he agrees with the flights and torture who has his job description would have to be a supporter or no job. Send him on a flight with himself blindfolded tortured and then see if he still wants the job.

That a man such as General Haydon, wearing the uniform of the United States of American would approve such methods just goes to show how far we have come from what we claim to be. They are destroying our country and all it should be and we are still debating such things as whether American citizens should be "allowed" to get married. We have really met the enemy, and it is us.

Hayden is not qualified to be DCIA. The fact the he is even talking about "rendition" is evidence of this. He is another in a long line of incompetents in charge of one of the most important agencies in the US government. It's no wonder Al Qaida, as well as Bin Laden and Alzwahari are alive and doing well. Talking about rendition is another attempt to change the subject, we should be asking why after 6 years Bin Laden has not been brought to justice.
