TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman on Wednesday apologized for using the N-word repeatedly in a profanity-laced tirade during a private phone conversation with his son that was recorded and posted online.
Chapman, star of A&E's hit reality series "Dog the Bounty Hunter," responded after The National Enquirer posted a clip of the conversation in which Chapman uses the racial slur in reference to his son's black girlfriend.

He should never have gotten angry at his son for having the girlfriend and never went into a tirade using the "N" word. (I hate saying that, isn't there another way of saying that? The N word) sheeshh. Hello me, just no one say it again.
Anyway, I don't care for his conversation being taped. To me that is the issue. Who taped that conversation and were they trying to 1. blackmail him or 2. hurt him. Either way it was also wrong. I just hope it was one of the son or the girlfriend because if it was our super surviellence (sp?) program then we have a problem people.
Everyone has said this word once or so in their lifetime people. I admit that I did once. I was mad at someone and I said it to myself but it doesn't make that any better. I apologized because I was ashamed of myself but I did say it in anger.
It's a boring show anyway. A bunch of rednecks jump in a Suburban, capture a 98lb meth head like they're picking up Osama Bin Laden and then DOG makes some BS speech. Mullets, fat bleach blonde chicks and white trash, no wonder so many people drink.
My prediction is DOG will make the usual apologies and cut your favourite race pimps a check or two. He might even find GOD again and later have a tearful reunion with his son.
No ... I'm implying he's a racist redneck - which evidentally he is. Racist Rednecks: uneducated, usually poor, and disenfranchised - but in their peabrains simply because they're skin is white they believe they are superior to all people who happen to black. Mere skin color doesn't make anyone superior, but their ways does make them trash.
Point taken, however. This old phrase 'white trash' or more often 'poor white trash' is a nasty one. I will not again specify the word 'white' as a preface to labeling someone 'trash' who happens to be white.
(Incidentally, I am white.)
The issue here is not one of privacy. Privacy is a scarce commodity these days. Whether or not he should of been caught is irrelevant. The true nature of the man has been revealed. Eventually who we really are catches up with us. Maybe he should consult Jesus the Jew on this one. These guy is no victim.
Maybe he should put out a music album and call it the N-word. Then it would be ok.

In his desperate attempt to backpedal, Dog claims he wasn't addressing his son's girlfriend's race, but her character.
Yet, from the tape, it is quite clear that his concern is that she might hear him use the N word and report it to the Enquirer. This clearly demonstrates that he *knows* it's wrong!
How ironic is it that, in his attempt to explain to his son that he can no longer work on the show unless he dumps his girlfriend, he uses the very term he was afraid might get out, the magic word that would turn the viewing public against him!

These are not role models! Invoking Jesus or aloha does not get you off the hook! A man who can't even control the words that come out of his own mouth has no place being venerated on television.
Dog is a very sleazy phony guy in a sleazy business. I am always skeptical of people who pray to Jesus -- or anyone -- prior to committing a nasty act. Plus he plays god acting like he is doing his prisoners a huge favor.
So write to A&E urging them to return to the Arts in their name. Chapman and his very trashy family should be removed from the air permanently ASP.
Bridezillas is good trash. Duane Chapman is an offensive scumbag. Assume his daily vocabulary includes Wops, Kikes, Guineas, Micks,Spics, Slant eyes, Ragheads, Faggots, Hos, and of course Niggers. His behavior certainly implies that.

Let's not mix up the issues. His right to privacy is a secondary concern and issue. The main issue is the fact that he in fact harbors hatred based simply on the color of a person's skin. What other groups does he hate?
His tirade, spewed in anger, reveals much about him. And while he may also provide leadership and guidance, and do good in the world; it is overshadowed by this revelation of unwarranted and despicable hate.
It seems an undisputed fact at this time that he does use this type of language. Doesn't he think that his small children and grandchildren *might* just think it's OK if The Dog uses it? Or the millions of young fans?
I was always disturbed by the photo of Bush in the office, and it was the first thing I thought of when this story broke. The link is indisputable (in my opinion.)
I'll be waiting to see how this is handled by both Mr. Chapman AND A&E. Lip service to save the gravy train is unacceptable. Action. Meanbingful action. That's what the public wants -- and the only thing that I personally can accept.
One of the compelling things about the Chapmans is their big, messy, trashy family and their obvious love for each other. And their personal stories of failure and redemption. But can they rise to this situation and actually change?

I am gonna get reamed for this, but I'll say it anyway. The guy was in his house and had an expectation of privacy.
It's going to ruin his t.v. show and now he will be best known as the guy who used the "n" word rather than whatever it is he is known for.
That sort of language isn't acceptable in polite company, but the guy was at his house.
I ask everyone here, if your worst enemy got to pick five minutes of your life and post it on youtube, how do you think you would come out looking?
Guess his son hates him, huh? It's another Michael Richards-type of story and does expose his flaws. He wasn't trying to be funny so I'm sure he meant what he was saying.
