How Foodies Do It On Halloween
IT'S unseemly to play foodie on Halloween, a day devoted to candy in all its sweet, sour, gummy, fizzy, sticky, chocolaty, crunchy and infinitely nutty forms. Step away from the hazelnut truffles and passion fruit gelées; embrace the Skittles and the Nerds.
The Dining section asked dozens of chefs, cooks, nutritionists, bakers and recovering trick-or-treaters three questions about their favorite Halloween treats from the past, the present and from their fevered imaginations.
