I Like ItI Don’t Like It

At last night's debate between Democratic presidential candidates in Philadelphia, NBC's Tim Russert asked a flustered Cleveland Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich whether he'd seen a UFO.

Here's a transcript and YouTube video of their exchange:

RUSSERT: Shirley MacLaine writes in her new book that you sighted a UFO over her home in Washington state, that you found the encounter extremely moving, that it was a triangular craft, silent and hovering, that you felt a connection to your heart and heard directions in your mind. Now, did you see a UFO?

KUCINICH: Uh, I did. And the rest of the account. It was an unidentified flying object, OK? It's like, it's unidentified. I saw something. Now, to answer your question. I'm moving my, and I'm also going to move my campaign office to Roswell, New Mexico, and another one in Exeter, New Hampshire, OK? And also, you have to keep in mind that Jimmy Carter saw a UFO, and also that more people in this country have seen UFOs than I think approve of George Bush's presidency.

He is the only real way out for America. It's tragic that it will not be realized by American people who prefer to be manipulated by a cheap contributions game.
Bad for the world - unfortunately.

It's not just the contributions game but the media game. The msm has all but come out and said Hillary will be the Democratic candidate and are pretty much ignoring everyone else.

Is that because their corporate owners want her to be the candidate, or because they think if she is, the Republicans can beat her?

Personally, the more I hear from her on national security issues, the more corporate contributions she takes, and the more she votes in line with what the Neo-Cons want, the less inclined I am to support her.

More military action IS NOT the answer, and will eventually bring bloodshed and terror to the streets of this country, and our children and grandchildren will suffer greatly because of it.

it's because she and all the repugs but paul [and prob Obama and maybe edwards as well] are all neo-libs or neo-cons when it come sot american corporate policy. that is all that matters to the oligarchy.

Why is it more ridiculous to speculate about extra-terrestrial life than believing in some sky-god?

I'd be more inclined in to believe life on other planets than in the religions on this one.

Maybe he married her.

She seems almost too hot to be human.

And she doesn't talk much.

I don't know about UFO's, but Romney believes that he and his wife are going to live on another planet after they both die.

Are there people on that planet already?

Oh! And when asked about UFO's, Mr. Giuliani said, "Noun, verb, 9/11".

Trophy wife is hot so the old boy must have something going for him, besides money I mean. He doesn't have a pray but at least he "gets it".

Kuchinich's wife is from Sweden or Denmark. Women there really aren't as shallow as many American women are. She's extremely intelligent and well spoken, and is obviously in love with Kuchinich for his mind, his sense of humor, his humanity.

Looks fade with age. Personality, morals, ethics, don't.

3 out of ten Repub candidates don't believe in Evolution. Which is weirder? I've seen a UFO too. Like lots of other people. What does that mean? There's stuff out there--I'll wait until the damn thing lands and they ask for directions before I make any final judgement

What is the big deal! It is an unidentified flying object. He didn't see little green men with big eyes. The MSM is nuttier than ever.

I'd rather have a President who says he saw a UFO than one who says he talks to "god".

MSM is absolutely scared shitless of Dennis Kucinich and will now attempt to discredit him every way possible.

He is not a NEOCON and is one of the very few candidates who will not play ball with the MIC and big oil.

Want to be free, America? Vote for Kucinich.

Besides, what is wrong with seeing something which you cannot identify? Our current President thinks he talks to God, one on one.

Great point, men who see God or talk to him are crazy. Why would God need to talk to us? Wouldn't he/she just have us do?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 12:20 PM on 10/31/2007

I agree! The more I hear/see/read Kuchinich, the more impressed I am by his intelligence, ability to grasp the really important things, and get rid of all the crap.
