Have you sent your child out trick or treating yet? No? Oh thank God. Because Pat Robertson proclaimed today on "The 700 Club" that Halloween is the "festival of the Devil". He went on to say that celebrating Halloween is "a mistake for Christians" and to participate in it is "wrong". His yes woman Kristi Watts agreed whole heartedly. So Christian parents, keep those wise words in mind before you let your kids have fun and eat candy and fit in socially. If you really care about your kids and don't want to see them end up in eternal damnation, you'll keep them home tonight and let them play the Bibleman video game.

Speaking of ghouls and goblins...
Has he looked in a mirror lately....???

'...for Christians to participate in it, is just wrong, it just is'

Wow he's even got to the point where he doesn't even quote the Bible, HE just says it's wrong because it is. Like somehow he's got the authority to say what people should do, unfortunately some folks are his sheep.

Last night with my son going Treat or Treating was just plain cool. Nice to say hello to neighbors, everyone being happy and the kids of all levels having a blast. Even the candy isn't the big thrill for the kids - it's the excitement of everyone socializing. A few scares, lots of laffs and the kids and adults seem to get a kick out of it all.

As one who was raised fairly religiously and saw it as BS early on, it was the Robertsons, Falwells, Swaggarts, Bakers, Haggards, tons of priests and so many small time Bible phonies that sealed the deal for me. They all seem kinda Satanic to me.

Pat has a sick evil hate streak and loves to threaten with God's backing of course. Nothing new. The mindless sheep, the flock, who buy into this crapola deserve the hypocrisy, ignorance and hate he and his ilk spew. Robertson, if one reads up on his former antics, is a man who begs for God's wrath to destroy those who do not listen up to Pat/God's Word. Ego gone mad.

On a related note;

Jack O'lanterns across the country were heard commenting that Pat Robertson was bad for christians.

Pat Robertson is a mistake too. His daddy got too drunk, too frisky and didnt pull out early.

Were I a true Christian, I would be advocating torture for Pat Robertson, followed by beheading, or some equally gruesome killing technique from 'Passion of the Christ'.
