From President Bush's address today at the right-wing Heritage Foundation in Washington DC:

I ask Congress to send me a clean Veterans funding bill by Veterans Day, and to pass a clean Defense spending bill. Congress needs to put the needs of those who put on the uniform ahead of their desire to spend more money. When it comes to funding our troops, some in Washington should spend more time responding to the warnings of terrorists like Osama bin Laden, and the requests of our commanders on the ground, and less time responding to the demands of MoveOn.org bloggers and Code Pink protesters..

The crowd responded with a sustained standing ovation. Watch the video:

No wonder why Garden State's Approval rating of the president is at 26%... and why 71% of NJ voters think that the country is on the wrong track http://publicmind.fdu.edu/iraqlooms//)

Bush needs to stop bashing bloggers and activists and start leading the country- after all i think that that's what he got voted into office for.

yes, Bush and the Republicans can only GET standing ovations from those groups whose interests they are caring for. And that leaves most of America out of it.

The standing ovation was to be expected. After all, the Puppet was speaking to a select crowd in the Heritage Foundation, one of the many ultra right lunatic bins funded, and in this case founded, by Richard Mellon Scaife.

At almost the same time, Chief Chickenhawk-Puppeteer Cheney was vomiting his bilge on an American Legion crowd.

Read and think about the content of their blather. These guys are just hopeless in their misguided notions that rational Americans, now fully aware of the track records of these two during the past six years, are continuing to believe them.

So, move-on has got to them huh! Cool. The site will receive thousands of hits and plenty google-bucks I hope. Amazing tag-team that pair of Bush and Osama. They surely complement and abet each other.

Does it seem to anyone else that when the Killer Chimp and Cheney speak they always speak to their version of the home base? When do they go where the crowd isn't vetted of those who might yell something at them they do not want to be heard? It is a shame that the media plays them as if they hav e spoken to a diverse group and not the home of the radical right.

I remind this country club, known as the Heritage Foundation, just who was in the White House or rather Crawford, Texas, then Florida on 9/11--was totally briefed on the threat of Al Qaida by the Clinton administration--ignored the warnings of a forthcoming attack for which he should have been immediately removed from office for gross negligence, malfeasance and misfeasance, failure to fulfill the duties, obligations and responsibilities of the office of president of the United States. The effects of this failure of this administration to protect the people of the United States and the resulting disaster he visited upon its citizens with a contrived, phony war is singularly noteworthy as justification for impeachment, removal from office and prosecution under the Constitution. Negligence causing harm to another is actionable. How about a standing ovation for the dolt.

All we hear from the repukes is support the troops, support the troops, support the troops.

My idea of supporting the troops is to appropriate enough money to get their butts out of Iraq and back home.

What the hell do these chickenshit chickenhawks know about war? The vast majority of them never served a day in the military in their life.

BUSH'S CODE

Have you noticed that Bush's speeches are very carefully crafted, so that he is speaking in code?

(1) Stupid Sheep - believe everything as fact
(2) His Base - know everything is doublespeak
(3) Media - give him benefit of the doubt

The way to know what he's up to is to reverse everything he says. What is true is untrue. What is untrue is true.

Bush needs to be indicted for war crimes. The whole world would give a standing ovation for that.

Kyle and Lieberman ask that MoveOn be declared a terrorist organization. Condi says she won't rule out nukes. Hillary says she signed on only to apply pressure, and not to hurt anyone.
