Norm Coleman, the incumbent Republican Senator from Minnesota, hasn't even formally endorsed the presidential campaign of Rudy GIuliani yet. But word is that he will, and former Saturday Night Live funny man and now Democratic challenger Al Franken is already taking note of the former St. Paul mayor's move.

Andy Barr, Franken's campaign manager, provided this comment to the Huffington Post on how the comedy writer and former Air America radio host reacted to the announcement:

So the Senator who didn't think Halliburton's war profiteering was worth investigating is endorsing the candidate who wanted to put Bernie Kerik in charge of Homeland Security. Makes sense to us!

Answer: Who is Norm Coleman.

The question: Who is likely to need his fat head examined?

Why anyone would endorse recent redneck history revisionist and gun nut advocate and pro Bush War Rudy "Flip-Flop" G. in Minnesota is beyond a crazy question.

Ladies and Gentlemen, your new junior Senator from the Great state of Minnesota, Al Franken.

Quimby's coming out for Giuliani, is he? One empty suit endorsing another...

(With apologies to clothing everywhere!)
