Hillary Clinton

AP:

On the wall of Hsiao Yen Wang's apartment, a cramped, 17th-floor public housing unit on the city's Lower East Side, are photographs of her husband, David Guo, a cook who specializes in Fujian cuisine.

One photo stands out: Guo shaking Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's hand, a memento from a $1,000-a-person fundraiser for the New York senator held in New York's Chinatown last April.

Last week, Wang got another memento -- a calling card from a Justice Department criminal investigator. The investigator asked Wang if she was coerced into giving money to the campaign and whether she knew of anybody else who may have been forced to contribute.

No more so I'm sure than Bu$h was -- or any GOP candidate. I've heard about that from one "donor" who was told by a company that to continue to do biz they should give to GOP candidates. Gee, isn't that coercion (if in this case not a big deal to the "donors" since the donors were GOP sympathizers).

Vogon, hydenorhare, lutherb, CommieKazi, do you think that our liberal Huffpo Kids brethren can now understand why the Republicans look forward to a Clinton nomination?

Once again we enter the world of personality politics where people are discussed instead of actual issues. If Hill gets the nomination we can be guaranteed a raft of sheeple will pound minutae to death. And otherwise smear people and not policy. They have used this effectively for some time but it is about to play out. Our country is going downhill and people are about ready to trade in the snarkers for solutions and action on the big issues.
I am not a hillary supporter and the ONLY thing that makes me want to vote for her is the lazy brained right wing shriekers. If it would piss them off I'm all for it.

So (if nothing turns up) Hillary will be able spin this to say that she's the only candidate who is certified not to have coerced any donations. What fun!

Is this what we can expect from another Clinton Presidency?

The Progressive Review

This list was compiled at the end of the Clinton administration. It was last partially updated in 2000

Our Clinton Scandal Index

The Clintons, to adapt a line from Dr. Johnson, were not only corrupt, they were the cause of corruption in others. Yet seldom in America have so many come to excuse so much mendacity and malfeasance as during the Clinton years. Here are some of the facts that have been buried.

RECORDS SET

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court

Question for Hillary

What did you do with the FBI files that Craig Livingstone illegally procured for you? Did you make copies of them from a list of your political enemies?

Was Algore's file one of them?

So, I suppose we'll be treated to having this as the top story all day, when there is more substantive news breaking...

So predictable, almost makes me want to vote Clinton.

Question for a 'strong' Republican to answer.

If your pResident repeatedly humiliated you publicly (for at least 7 years) with stupidity and incompetence, would you still support him?

Is that the mark of a 'strong' Republican, or is that the mark of a doormat?
