i do not care about polls,gender or race. i will make my decision based on the issues and how the candidates vote on the issues. polls especially to me don't matter. they go up or down depending on who is conducting them and how the questionsa are phrased.

Oh, how to begin...? For any of you who don't know, this website, just like both sides of the supposedly democratic process, receives large somes from AIPAC. The purpose? To keep mainstream America (and many people posting here) under the illusion that the fake duality of this faux republic actually has any relation to the ideals of its founders. Many posters here are actually actively encouraged to particpate in this website via covert financial incentives in order to perpetuate this illusion. Huffington herself is as much under the spell of AIPAC as Pelosi. As a result, this website is as actively involved in political deceit as those against whom it feigns idealogical opposition. Of course, those less astute victims of the seige on our Constitution (either through the tactics of AIPAC or its associates) will be the first to feel the pain that their own ignorance has afforded them, and thus will quickly strike their keyboards in hollow, shameful expletive. But it is not important. There is a very passionate personage within this country to whom the Constitution and Bill of Rights means as much as it was indeed originally intended. No pretence of Republican versus Democrat in order to further the funding of treasonous schemes funded by foreign governments will remove our focus. Our founding Fathers' purposeful intent is branded in our hearts and the fury of their vision will scorch any who stand against it. You know who you are.

Of course that's why they're piling on.

And as I predicted, Hillary's numbers went UP, not down, after the debate, because she pointed out very effectively that John Edwards was deliberately misrepresenting her Iraq proposals. She came out ahead - she's tough, smart, a veteran campaigner, and all in all, will make a very strong president.

All that is left for those of us who hate her Middle East policies is to pressure her and try to influence her approach.

I'm voting for Obama in the primary; if Hillary wins, after watching her smack down Edwards so easily in the debate, I can see that she'll be able to stand her own against Republicans. (Of course, if Edwards had stuck to the facts, she would not have had such an opportunity to show her cajones. Just because if feels good in the blogosphere doesn't mean it's a good idea.)

Hillary is a power hungry abused wife who is finally being given her shot at what she has always wanted, what she paid a heavy price to have.
She has the the starry eyed socialist leanings of her youthfully inculcated idealistic college years gnawing at her insides, while the practicalities and hardening of life compete for her reason.
She spent 8 years in the White House with her husband and through her confidential conversations with him, she knows the hard realities of the world and the required actions of the most powerful nation on earth.

She is deeply conflicted between reality, her lust for power at any cost without direction or any true operational paradigm, and her youthful ideals and naive notions.

She entered the White House with Bill, hating the military, the CIA, and American military and capitalist hegemony.
Her influence on Bill helped to undermine these American strengths and sense of purpose.

She knows as well as any of the inner circle of those Clinton years, that America was brought low by these starry-eyed ideals being made into policies and that 911 was the direct outcome of these policies.

She wants the power, she wants the idealistic socialist dreams of her youth, but she also knows the truth of an ugly world.

She is past her prime and out of real ideas and clear direction, but this is her chance for power and glory(a blood lust in her).
She is lost between the aspiration, dreams and hope of her youth and the catharsis about her own mortality and her last chance for a moment in history.
She is a dangerous, she is rudderless and she is a desperate woman.

Her life is now water running through her fingers as she finally has the chance to raise her hands to drink from.

Frighteningly she is the best the Dems have to offer.

I don't like or trust the Republican choices much either...
