Kidman, the subject of rumours she's had cosmetic surgery, denies she has gone under the knife. And her porcelain skin has never seen a botox needle.

"To be honest, I am completely natural," Kidman tells Marie Claire magazine. "I have nothing in my face or anything," she says. "I wear sunscreen, and I don't smoke. I take care of myself. And I'm very proud to say that."
...
Kidman, 40, says she does not judge people who have had plastic surgery. "Anybody can do anything to themselves, their bodies," she says.

She's looking more and more like Joan Crawford...is that a good or bad thing?

Natural? Yes, and so are Pam Anderson's boobs.

It's a hell of a thing to have to grow old in front of the whole world, especially if you are a woman movie star and your good looks determiine how long you stay viable in the venue of movie making. So bottom line is I'd give her a break and wish her well because I know it can't be easy being her at this time in her career.

She looks horrible. She is a creative welterweight wuss - and can't act her way out of a paper bag, ever. Compared to Hepburn, Streep, Leigh, Magnani, Garbo, Gardner, Bergman, Masini, Rowlands, Signoret, she's such a total nothing! How revealing that today's society thinks she is "great." And yeah, in her old pictures she has a completely different face! Duh.

I think it's entirely appropriate to inquire. She's a movie star and nothing is verboten.
I'm sure she's stayed out of the sun.
The solar rays down under are intense.
But, she looks nothing like she did.
Look at a photo from Far and Away.
She had red, curly hair.
A much bigger nose.
The eyes changed.
C'mon Nic Fess Up!

For sure.
She was probably born with whatever that condition might be called-- common to ventriloquist's dummies-- of having a freezer-door forehead and taxidermied eyebrows.
We simply didn't notice it til age got it stretched tight enough that light bounced into rainbows around it.

It's well known that actresses sag in reverse. Maybe she's got a muffin top at the back of her neck.

I think it is hilarious that after forty actresses who have gone in for a permanent Dorian Gray persona need to explain away why they look like they are morphing into siding.

So they had work done. So what.
How vain can you get to think it's not going to be noticeable? If it was me, I'd be so delighted to give my tucker full credit.

But why can't women have the option of aging subtly WITH cosmetic surgery instead of laminating yourself into the ever receding past?
Goldie Hawn now looks like her daughter's younger sister. Or Miss Havisham, depending on how much photoshop is involved.

Is looking improbable the best we can hope to opt for?

I always thought that ageing well was the best revenge. Achieving mannequinized zombies is not an adequate substitute.

Especially when your an actor and expression is part of what makes up your talent.
It seems Hollywood's current standards are doing the Greeks one better when it comes to wearing the masks of comedy and tragedy.

At least we can take consolation in the fact that men look far more ghastly when they let vanity over-ride maturity.

gala

From the looks of the picture, it looks like she's been stung by a million bees. I understand that's how your face swells up after botox injections.

I don't know anything about Nicole Kidman having or not having plastic surgery or botox. I am troubled over the assumption that she must have had some work simply because she is forty.

There is a thing called good genetics. When you combine that with exercise and a healthy lifestyle which Ms. Kidman's money can definitely afford, you get great results.

I don't have a particularly healthy lifestyle and my gym habits are lax. However, I don't have a line on my face and people freak when I tell them I'm forty. I just got lucky with the genetics. I'm thinking Ms. Kidman did as well.

She is just 40, not 55 or something. Besides, has anyone seen Christy Brinkley, Jaclyn Smith( 60) and Jane Seymour( 56). People are aging better nowadays, using sunscreen, working out, eating right. The sun is the #1 ager. Most of these stars have avoided it. No one should need botox before age 40 unless you live on the beach. She looks great.

Sorry Nicole, no. Just like GOP (Gay Old Party) you don't seem to understand that there is this thing called "video". Anyone can rent old films of you from your pre-Tom years and see that you had a completely different nose.
