America "Deserved" 9/11! And Elect Rudy For President!

In light of Pat Robertson's endorsement today of former NYC Mayor and Churchillian 9/11 hero Rudy Giuliani, it seems worth recalling that even as the smoke was still rising from the site a few days later, Robertson had this to say about the disaster in a TV appearance with Jerry Falwell:

"God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve," said Falwell, appearing yesterday on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "700 Club," hosted by Robertson.

"Jerry, that's my feeling," Robertson responded. "I think we've just seen the antechamber to terror. We haven't even begun to see what they can do to the major population."

Falwell said the American Civil Liberties Union has "got to take a lot of blame for this," again winning Robertson's agreement: "Well, yes."

This story is just plain funny on so many different levels. I'm looking forward to the photos of Robertson in drag at a pro choice rally.
If this section of the religious right lines up behind Rudy, then he's more likely to be the nominee, and I'd welcome it. Rudy is so beatable on so many fronts, none more so than his bogus and fatally flawed image as a 9/11 hero. Much as I hate quoting Bush, I say "Bring it on."

Is Robertson the one whose followers are anti-gay, pro-life, anti-abortion and yet, they don't mind using deadly force on physicians who perform abortion ? The Almighty is going to judge both Falwell and Robertson for their sins and their beliefs. Both these men judge others which is a sin against the Almighty, They have never demonstrated anything close to a good heart, and they don't understand what it is to be a Christian. They display daily the perversion of religion. America has more and give the least, so we all need to be on our knees daily to ask forgiveness for our ways. Unfortunately to love America is not a pass to get into heaven.

The other day I was looking at the movie the Queen, and there was a scene, where the Pope wanted the queen assassinated because of heresy, went she advocated braking off from the Vatican. Now I don't know if that were true, but the films message shows you that Ministers are political, cruel, devious and will do anything to get their candidate into office. Mr. Robertson is just a man with the title of Minister. He is going to walk through the same gates we all walk through if he gets to heaven. And at that time he is going to face his judge and he will not be about to have counsel represent him. And if he has is read his Bible, he may not get in. And another think I find funny, is that his followers will also follow his to his fate.

Rudy & Pat, strange bedfellows indeed....

Robertson (and his porcine pal Falwell) very publically blamed pagans, abortionists, feminists & gays and lesbians for bringing on the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. Did I forget the Clintons?

Rudy Giuliani seems to be the sole beneficiary of those attacks, that is, if you don't count the 9/11 widows, who, at least according to Ann Coulter, have parleyed that tragedy in to a gold mine of publicity.

Rudy has gone down to the crossroads and made a deal with the devil.....­..
