Iraq Signs

Opposition to the war in Iraq has reached an all-time high, according to the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll released Thursday morning.

Support for the war in Iraq has dropped to 31 percent and the 68 percent who oppose the war is a new record.

Despite the drop in violence in Iraq, only one quarter of Americans believes the U.S. is winning the war. There has been virtually no change in the past month in the number of Americans who believe that things are going badly for the U.S. in the war in Iraq.

The public also opposes U.S. military action against Iran. Sixty-three percent oppose air strikes on Iran, while 73 percent oppose using ground troops as well as air strikes in that country.

Overall, 56 percent, of Americans are dissatisfied with progress in the war on terrorism.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation telephone poll of 1,024 American adults was carried out over the weekend. The sampling error for the full sample was plus-or-minus 3 percentage points; some questions were asked of a half sample of approximately 500 respondents and carry a sampling error of plus-or-minus 4.5 percentage point.

Pelosi has proven to be about as useful as tits on a bull.

The DEM leadership has in some instances crossed the line from passive enablers of neo-con treason to willful collaborators in contemptiously breaking our laws and defying the Constitution they swore to uphold.

What has Pelosi or any of the DEM "leadership" done to actually stop the War in Iraq; illegal torture; the scandously looting of our treasure that is stealing our very future; the denial of habeus corpus; the flow of poisonious food and toys into our nation; to hold anyone accountable for domestic spying or for a seemingly endless list of abuses and crimes that were willfully and comptemptiously committed in violation of our Constitution and laws?

I can only hope that right now some decent American Patriot in Pelosi's home district is preparing to challenge her and help the American People regain control of their own government, and that the same thing is happening in the home district of every traitorous rat in Congress be they GOP or DEM.

When the chimpanzee took office, the national debt was $5.6 trillion dollars. Now it's $9 trillion dollars. An increase of $3.4 trillion dollars. Over 60%.

It took over 200 yrs for the national debt to reach $1 trillion dollars. From the time of George Washington to the time of Ronald Reagan.

In 7 years, the chimpanzee has pissed away 3 1/2 times what our government did in its first 200 years or so.

Amazing shit. And a travesty.

Can anyone tell me where the website is that I can check out the voting record of candidates concerning the Iraq war?
It's very simple for me at the polls now. If you voted in any way to support the Iraq war in the past two years, I will vote for Mickey Mouse before I vote for you.
I don't want to hear the mumbo jumbo of what I believe to be lies and there isn't enough time to repair any issues of credibility that exist.
Hear me loud and clear. I am an AMERICAN CITIZEN and while I still am able to vote I will vote against anyone who in anyway supports trillions of dollars being spent overseas to blow things up while people here go without jobs, (we don't count them as unemployed anymore because it has been so long), and children can't get health care.
And, listen to this! I DON'T CARE IF I AM WRONG. This is my country. And, you are elected to serve me. Furthermore, it is the Constitutional right of the American people to be wrong. I would have respected a wrong decision about the war if it had been the American people's decision.....but....it wasn't because they weren't given all the facts!
So.....where's the Internet web site that I can go to and just find the facts.....the voting record of a candidate on the Iraq war?

Time for the Fed to pump another couple hundred billion in the market so the fat cats can remain fat while the poor go w/o heat this winter.

Bail out the rich -- fuck the poor. That's compassionate conservativism in a nutshell.

Opposition to the ongoing military occupation of Iraq will continue to go higher.

...just like the euro
...just like the national debt
...just like the pentagon budget
...just like the number of terrorists
...just like the number of foreclosures
...just the price of heating oil and gasoline
...just like number of defective toys from China.

If 31% of those polled support the war, why can't the Armed Services meet their recruitment goals?

Why are these people home taking polls?

"Support for the war in Iraq has dropped to 31 percent and the 68 percent who oppose the war is a new record."

Hell of an advertisement for Junior's toxic version of 'democracy'. Bet there are emerging nations out there that just can't wait to get their piece of this 'representative' government thingy.

Theater of the Absurd

One year ago we also wanted out of Iraq.

The Dems squandered their momentum.

They are worthless.
Utterly worthless.

Why would Diane Feinstein want us out
of Iraq?

Her husband is making a fortune.

Often with Halliburton.

A voice from the past cried Give peace a chance
He paid our price now he's free at last
Imagine, we called him a dreamer!
How many times must good men die?
How many tears will the children cry?
'Til they suffer no more sadness
Stop the madness,
Oh, stop the madness.
If ashes are ashes and dust is dust
At our journey's end then return we must
To the sands of the shore
White doves in flight
Peace to all

Molly Hatchet.

The Iraq war was based on falsehoods from day one. It was a part of an intricate plot, yes with daddy bush's fingerprints on it as well as Bush and Cheney's. Those who want to call me a traitor, conspiracy nut, can take this to the bank, this comes from the CIA. Hello. before the last elections, alot of things were done to discredit Clinton,(Monica anyone?), steal the elction from Gore, (they admitted he won), in order to hold the daddy of them all, the Iraq war. They knew there were no WMD, plagerized documents that Powell used and had to applolgize for. It was about oil. They also knew Iraq never attacked us. Falsehoods. Before the senate and congress could evaluate the data, Bush forced thier hands on the vote to go to war. Some didn't buy it, didn't vote for it. Bush also knew if this were to come to pass, it would mean republicans would stay in power as he would declare war, keeping us there for 50 years. Valerie also knew about this. Its why they outted her. It was meant to silence the CIA. It wasn't Iraq who hit us, it was blackwater.

i hate to break it to you my fellow americans , but the effects of this war already has affected the american economy , have you seen the dollar in free fall dropping like a brink , have you seen the oil getting close to $100 a barrel, mortgage crises very much looking like recession if not depression era on the heels of these nazis who did all this on purpose to help the corportae elites make their billions ,yes we finally are waking up to the bush regimes damaging effects on us at home for their greed for the oil in Iraq, but it might just be to late cause of americans apathy and conplancency went on just far to long on allowing this regime to trample on what is to be a proud americans, this regime has done what it set out to do destroy america from within, in the guise that their were these people out there waiting to get us , if you didn't allow the bush regime take away all your civil liberties to protect you,i'm glad to see the people finally rising up in protest and marches , it might just be to late cause the damage has been done and the economic pain from this regimes stealing the treasury blind and debt in trillions, recession a deep one if not depresssion might be inevitable at this point

Dear Trolls,

Since Bush and his all-Republican Congress took power in January, 2001, five trillion dollars has been added to the US national debt. It has reached a point where the US dollar is collapsing.

Please explain to me why you want the value of the dollar destroyed?

Thank you!
