Iraq Signs

Opposition to the war in Iraq has reached an all-time high, according to the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll released Thursday morning.

Support for the war in Iraq has dropped to 31 percent and the 68 percent who oppose the war is a new record.

Despite the drop in violence in Iraq, only one quarter of Americans believes the U.S. is winning the war. There has been virtually no change in the past month in the number of Americans who believe that things are going badly for the U.S. in the war in Iraq.

The public also opposes U.S. military action against Iran. Sixty-three percent oppose air strikes on Iran, while 73 percent oppose using ground troops as well as air strikes in that country.

Overall, 56 percent, of Americans are dissatisfied with progress in the war on terrorism.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation telephone poll of 1,024 American adults was carried out over the weekend. The sampling error for the full sample was plus-or-minus 3 percentage points; some questions were asked of a half sample of approximately 500 respondents and carry a sampling error of plus-or-minus 4.5 percentage point.

Money is being made in Iraq by the Oil and Arms dealers.

It will not end. It will escalate.

Dick Cheney will detonate a nuclear bomb in a major city in the United Sates of America within the next 14 months - 9/11 part II.

Iran/Al-Queida will be blamed. Martial law will be declared, what is left of the Constituion will be "suspended."

Depression, Riots, private security firms murdering American citizens in the streets.

Not looking good. End game for the American Empire.

Dead Troops = Halliburton (Now based in Dubai) Profits = Money in Dick Cheney's souless, bloody pockets.

RIP America. Destroyed from within by false flag Operations.

It no longer matter what the people of the US want. The nation has been sold to the highest bidder.

Get ready for soup lines.

Why don't we see people marching in the streets in opposition to the war?

Reading a poll and commenting on it on HuffPo is one thing, but marching in the streets en masse is a much more effective way to motivate others to become more vocal in their opposition.

What is wrong with the anti-war "movement"? Does such a movement even exist?

Remember the latinos who marched in huge numbers for THEIR cause? It created a lot of attention and propelled a national conversation on the matter which lead to legislative talk.

How are the Democratics supposed to take the anti-war "movement" seriously when there is no visual representation of them on the news?

I don't get it.

"Impeachment is off the table", according to Nancy Pelosi. I think they should have used the same approach with Al Capone - arrest and prosecution is off the table.

What's next for America?

We elected Congressmen and Women we believed would end the illegal occupation of Iraq and impeach a President who has repeatedly violated the Constitution.

They have not done so.

We TRIED to solve these problems using the method by which they're SUPPOSED to get solved in a Democracy.

The lawyers have gone into the streets in Pakistan and gotten themselves arrested, fighting for THEIR Constitution and rule of law.

And yet we cannot even get a million protestors to show up in DC even to protest, much less get arrested. The apathy of the hundred million or so Americans who CLAIM they are opposed to this war is immeasurable.

Could we get even 50,000 to march solely against the attacks on our Constitution?

How do we effect change in America if the democratic process no longer works?

Do you believe it still works?

And if it does not work, what are you willing to do to restore America to what it is, which is a country that doesn't torture, doesn't render, doesn't issue "signing statements" or "National Security letters," doesn't hire mercenaries, doesn't wiretap its citizens without a warrant, doesn't break the law and "out" covert agents, doesn't fabricate evidence with which to launch unprovoked wars, respects habeus corpus, and doesn't lie endlessly to the American public.

My fellow Americans, REAL Americans, I ask you. What are you willing to do to bring our country back from the edge of this black hole George Bush continues to drag us down?..

Unless Bush's approval rating drops to 0% or lower, Democrats will not take the risk of being perceived as opposing him.

The same is true of Cheney. Kucinich's move to impeach a popular Vice President with 11% approval rating can only be described as radical and political suicide.

Go Dems!

Why do Biblical fundamentalists support this war?

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

George W. Bush personifies the most malevolent, irredeemable and diabolic aspects of mankind. Not only is he wantonly destructive, purposefully dishonest and shamelessly unremorseful, he disgracefully defends his catastrophic decisions by hiding and perpetuating the devastating impact they have on the lives of defenseless human beings. Hundreds of thousands of innocent children, women and men, who have not harbored a harmful thought toward another human being, have been murdered, eviscerated and maimed as a direct result of George W. Bush being the president of the United States of America. And yet, his overriding priority is to prolong the inhuman carnage he has instigated, not to end it. George W. Bush is an indelibly chilling example of what man is capable of doing to his fellow man......the worst example imaginable.

IMPEACHMENT is the only means we have of stopping the devastating consequences of the unrelenting IGNORANCE, ARROGANCE, INCOMPETENCE, DISHONESTIES, INSECURITIES, HOSTILE TEMPERAMENT, VINDICTIVENESS and PRONOUNCED PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS of George W. Bush. He is an intellectually and emotionally mean-spirited immature child who is destroying America's honor and integrity single-handedly. And politically correct Democrats are standing by watching as he dismantles our Constitution and rules of law creating an all powerful and self-ruling/policing ONE branch oppressive/fascist American government. No individual in our history is more deserving of CONDEMNATION and IMPEACHMENT than George W. Bush!

Why do we have a numb-skull as sitting president while highly intelligent, decent men like Independent Senator, Bernie Sanders, would never have a snowball's chance in hell of obtaining that office?

The dollar continues to drop in value.

The stock market is in freefall.

Home forclosures are at an all-time high.

Oil is nearing $100 a barrel.

Consumers are cutting back on their spending, hurting retailers at a critical time of the year.

Manufacturing jobs continue to go offshore.

Our military is in tatters and unprepared for potential attacks on our security.

The middle class is slipping away, even as the richest 1% get even richer.

Our infrastructure is falling apart.

A major American city still lies in ruins after a hurricaine.

Our environment is more polluted and the climate is rapidly changing.

Millions lack basic health insurance.

Our children and grandchildren face massive deficets caused by the profligate war spending of this criminal administration.

What's to be done?

Let's throw out all of the professional politicians and elect decent people who will adopt term limits and ban political contributions from corporations, unions, PACs and special interest groups.

If that doesn't work, it's time to sharpen the Guillotine and take to the streets. They can't hide behind their gated golf course communties while the rest of us stand by and watch our nation raped and pillaged.

November 7, 2007 -- Bush regime expanding old FEMA database

On July 9, 2007, WMR reported on the expansion of an old Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) database containing the names of American citizens who would be rounded up and incarcerated in the event of a national emergency declaration.

WMR reported: "After 9/11, the Bush White House used FEMA's secret and illegal database of American citizens, code-named Main Core, to target American citizens with electronic and other surveillance. FEMA's database had increased in size with the addition of raw telecommunications intercept data on American citizens obtained from the National Security Agency (NSA)."

Main Core has its roots in a smaller database developed by FEMA during the Reagan administration. ..."

these Vichy Democrats vote along with the Fascist GOP all the time......

my point is that the Murder Club of Congress will gladly sell us all out, and the constitution, and the bill of rights, torture for false reasons to go to war to steal oil, and then murder a million people for their oil, and let all the fascist collect money on our taxes for their resource war, where they don't pay taxes, but outsource our jobs, and have their companies in Dubai, and offshore. Vichy Dems like Feinstein get richer and richer, while her husband Richard Blum makes hundreds of millions of dollars, and the Israelisfirsters like Mukasey and Schmumer get happier and happier with the coming destruction of our rights.

and watch the AIPAC workers bury this post....

Thank You, Dems....
You have finally given me the nerve to vote for someone who represents my beliefs.
I am no longer going to vote out of fear for the lesser of the worst.
It looks like it will be 3rd Party for me...that is the only way to send the message.
..no votes for you!!!!!!
