Provide everything necessary for them on the road."

Mukasey has not stated that he is for torture.

Yet there are all of these "people" on here who are claiming that he did and what a evil person he is.

He did the RIGHT thing by not stating what is, and what is NOT, torture. That is an ongoing debate within the government and the country. That is NOT something that should be decided by one man.

So those of you who are calling him all these names and are acting like little children, get a hold of yourselves and grow up.

Good news as a Californian, Barbara Boxer voted "Nay" which (with Feinstein advocating and voting the way she has) means this great blue liberal monster of a state was, essentially, neutral. Still heartfelt thanks to Boxer who showed up and voted!

But can anyone tell me WHY, WHY, WHY Biden, Clinton, Dodd and Obama just failed to even show up?! The hell with taking a principled stand, they're not taking a stand AT ALL! Ladies and gents, the Democratic candidates for president! What kind of "keep your powder dry for the real battle" was that?! I'm tracking further and further Kucinich, but I'd really like to hear some theories on why our frontrunners couldn't be bothered.
