Senate To Vote On Mukasey Tonight, Confirmation Expected

The Senate moved to confirm Michael Mukasey as the nation's newest attorney general Thursday despite differences over his position on the legality of harsh interrogation of terrorism suspects.

After daylong negotiations, the Senate opened debate Thursday night on President Bush's nomination of Mukasey, a retired federal judge, to replace Alberto Gonzales, who resigned in September over his handling of firing of federal prosecutors.

I'm from California and I want to put a "Resign, Feinstein" bumper sticker on my car. Where can I get one? I'd like to see lots of other bumpers with the same message. I'd also like to see the ignorant anti-Semites (whose spelling deficiency speaks volumes) get some education. Do some foreign travel! Broaden your horizons! And, most important be someone you can love. If you got rid of your self-loathing you would see your fellow humans as equals deserving of respect and dare I use the "L" word--Love.

Why didn't they tie the approval to the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the administration? Archibald Cox was appointed special prosecutor, was fired by Nixon and that led to the impeachment process of Nixon and his resignation.

Feinstein outed herself as a neocon traitor when she drooled and fawned all over Condi Rice during her confirmation hearings, leaving Barbara Boxer to ask any hard questions. I was beyond disgusted with Feinstein at that point.

Feinstein is a traitor, a sellout, a neocon and a Zionist all rolled into one. That she peddles herself as a Democrat and gets away with it is testament to how clueless a lot of Californias must be.
