The presidential campaign just got a little bit dirtier with the latest round of negative campaign ads sponsored by what can only be called a "young" special interest group. It's a new round of mudslinging from an organization whose members actually like playing in mud. The new comedy site 23/6 brings you the latest salvo in what's becoming an increasingly nasty campaign. Name-calling was never like this.

You freaking political child-molestors have made a career out of dragging kids in front of TV cameras for everything from tax increases to socialized medicine.

I seem to be in the small minority that actually LOVES this satire.

I have been crying for years for Democrats to get some savy social psychologist to explain how propanda works, so that the dupes would actually believe crapola like the Swifties-spew would be warned. (Not that I think it would do any good...I am sure that the racists didn't REALLY believe the filthy lies from Bob Jones U. about McCain's adopted child from Bangladesh. But they recognized the gesture for what it was: somebody considered them important enough to be pandered to, and THAT they liked).

This satire and these adorable kids aren't saying anything any more absurd that what Limbaugh and his ilk have been saying for years. And WAY less ridiculous than what the nefarious Swifties crapped out of their disgusting mouths.

Hooray for everybody connected with this effort.

Hitler, in the last days of WWII began recruiting children (as young as 10-12) into the Nazi army, knowing they would die, only prolong, but not stop his inevitable defeat. The parents sacrificed their children in vain, for their ideal and zeal for the Third Reich.
Now we have the Swift-Kids publicly parroting filthy propaganda for the RNC. (No doubt, Karl Rove's behind this).
Grhamme Frost appealed for the S-CHIP bill, and told his own personal story. He did not engage in criticism or assassinate any person's character. Yet, he became the victim of false information (leaked by Mitch McConnell's office) and his family subjected to threats and intimidation.
These Swift-Kids' parents should be reported to Child Protective Services. Just like Elian Gonzalez, they're being used as political ploys and their best interests are being undermined. They're being subjected to psychological abuse, manipulation and brain-washing. It's one thing to teach your own children values you espouse, but quite another to use them as weapons. The parents, themselves don't have the courage to publicly voice these vicious attacks, so they are hiding behind their children and abusing them for their own personal interests. This is akin to what the VietCong did (sending small children with grenades on their bodies) up to US soldiers for a kill.
Arianna went over the edge on this one. There's nothing amusing about this. It should be OFF the HuffPost immediately. While Faux will probably air these, I thought this post was a better place.

OK, uhhh, crap? Who is promoting this garbage and how many morons will view it as credible? This is beyond belief, and just shows how low this campaign will go. I hope this is all coming from the repugs and the dems keep it a little bit upbeat, just going for the truth.

There is absolutely nothing funny or clever about this. Getting children into the act now? If this was an attempt at humor, it has failed miserably.
Gee, why not infuse a little gender-confusion into the minds of 6 year olds. This is thoroughly disgusting. HuffPo sinks to even lower depths in their campaign against the Clintons. Karl Rove....is that you??

For those of you with the wailing and knashing of teeth about the exploitation of children in these ads and giving them the wrong message - get a life. You must not have children.

The ads themselves I think are pretty lame, especially if they only run on the internet. However, the kids learn and possibly influence others not to believe literally what they hear in political ads. Kids are exposed to political attack ads on prime time TV and need to understand the motivation behind them.

They also highlight how juvenile attack ads are when they focus on the superficial and tabloid rumors versus talking about the real issues. So what - Rudy says that Hillary is a poopie-head with daunting background music. And the Swiftboaters said that Kerry was no war hero. Same thing.

Of course, Faux Noise will air them during prime time and their viewers will take them literally.

After reviewing the Swift Kids videos and the responses posted here, I have reached the following conclusions:
1) Pat Robertson and Fred Thompson watched solemnly, nodding their heads in agreement with the content until they nodded off altogether.
2) Karl Rove called RNC headquarters and told them to order a thousand copies to be used as campaign ads in Red States. This will save them millions in production costs as they try to line up the remaining Bush supporters for the next election.
3)Those under the chronological and mental age of 25 who text 8 hours a day, live with their parents, and probably won't vote anyhow, thought is was as funny as a rerun of Jackass. LOL.
4)John Stewart is as safe as he can be.
5) I wish Fox was running this and forced to deal with the embarrassment.
We cannot end the writers strike soon enough.

Actually that child was in his early teens and had been through so much after the accident. I am sure few others, adult or child, understood the need for medical care for families like his when they had overwhelming medical costs after an accident. Watch them both and unless you just want to sidestep reality, you will see tons of difference.

I cannot imagine any parent allowing any of their children to participate in suchs a "spoof" as you say. The script is so diabolical so it is not a joke. These little tidbits can follow these children the rest of their lives. Call Child Protective Services NOW. Do not wait another minute. Get these kids some help.

Anybody that thinks this crap is funny is sick. These kids have absolutely no idea what the hell they are saying. And the stuff they are saying.

What do you think would happen if the Democrats got kids to talk about the bush policies. Oh wait, didn't something like that happen. You know giving the Democratic response to bush and his vetoing of the children health bill...but then I didn't hear the kids talk about that. And the hell the republicans raised because this boy told the truth. And then they put this children up to spew shit like what they are doing.

BUT THEN REPUBLICANS, HAVE NO CLASS AND NO CHARACTER AND IT LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE BRINGING THEIR CHILDREN UP TO BE THE SAME.
