The presidential campaign just got a little bit dirtier with the latest round of negative campaign ads sponsored by what can only be called a "young" special interest group. It's a new round of mudslinging from an organization whose members actually like playing in mud. The new comedy site 23/6 brings you the latest salvo in what's becoming an increasingly nasty campaign. Name-calling was never like this.

I think if kids are exploited it should at least be funny. Having said that, kids should be taught critical thinking and logic rather than how to employ fallacies to smear character.

Maybe it'd be funny if they didn't sound exactly like million-dollar right-wing adults we're all too familiar with on talk-radio and Fox News. That's just too pathetic and disastrous to be funny.

What did I just watch? I thought it was cute, a bit funny watching the kids and their exaggerations. But, ummmm, nope not funny. And the Old Nation, that was a bit weird, yeah, I think I could do with that 5 minutes back.

mmmm - why would you want to, even comically, be knocking Democratic candidates?

I don't give the American public enough credit that if these are seen on a general site that they will understand it was a joke.

I can see the Right Wing having a field day with these and plenty of folks in the general public taking it serious.

But - I do love watching Democrats do everything they can to run themselves down in a lead up to a Presidential election.

I can't wait to see the next set of videos that slam the Democrats.

Humor is in the eye of the beholder. Now I kind of get the point, you're making fun of the stupidity of the main stream media and how they run with the nonsense stories about the candidates and the lies the main stream media propogate about the candidates.

But funny? No so much.

If you want to see a good example of satirical humor about the main stream media, take a look at The Onion. They have tons of material, study that for a couple of months, then give it another try.

A good sense of humor is indicative of a strong intellect. These things are hilarious. If you're so full of piss and vinegar that you can't handle it, then go see a shrink, please. For your own sake, before you die of a heart attack.

What a spoof like this does is show exactly how stupid those old swift boat ads were, and how stupid people were for believing them and putting their stickers on their pickup trucks and SUVs. I shouldn't have to say that to intelligent people. What is even more important, is by proving those "swift boat" ads to be as silly as they were, it discourages others from repeating that same tactic again. The more people who find them funny, the less intended impact they have, and the less value they are to a candidate that wants to smear his/her opponent.

Exploiting children is getting to be a habit among liberals. HuffPo is just taking it one step further. It's really sad.
