AP:

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Sunday she does not believe a Senate resolution authorizes President Bush to take military action against Iran.

"There is nothing in this particular resolution that would suggest that from our point of view. And, clearly, the president has also made very clear that he's on a diplomatic path where Iran comes into focus," Rice said.

Every justification for imperialism has tagged on some hyped-up or staged event. Starting with the slaughter of Native Americans to more recent trumped up claims, our empire builders have buffaloed (I'm sorry. Is that a wrong choice of words?) the people. How about slaughter in the Phillipines because a U.S. battleship was sunk in a Cuban bay (Remember the Maine)? How about let's form a new country and call it Costa Rica? How about Texans want to be free of Mexico? The Manifest Destiny concept should be renamed to Manifest Trickery. That's one for the history books.

GW Bush has never been on a diplomatic path anywhere. Rice has a problem with reading comprehension. Her interpretation that the Aug. 2001 NIE was historical brought death to 3000 New Yorkers.

The fact that she says it does not mean war, is enough for me...that's EXACTLY what it means. I wouldn't believe ANYTHING she says because she lies so much!!

No longer believing anything any member of the Bush-Cheney administrations says about anything ever. Not that they were ever honest about anything, but one hoped that giving them the occasional benefit of the doubt wouldn't destroy the world, the economy, or countries that never done nothin' to us. But giving them the benefit of the doubt is wrong, wrong, wrong. We know this now. It's not even a question. Impeach them all. Please. Thank you very much.

These neocon morons think we will never figure out the trick no matter how many times they pull it.

Step one: This is not voting on war, this is just in case.
question: what about the quagmire and blow back?Should we talk this over?

That is premature, it is too early to discus it. We don't even know if there
is going to be a war

They get the vote from morons like Hillary. Then go to war.

question:what about the cast, the quagmire and blow back? should we stop this?

Condi: It is too late now, the war has already started. Your screwed. Pulling out would betray General Betrayus.

Here's what Kucinich wrote to Conyers:

----------------------------------------

November 9, 2007
The Honorable John Conyers, Jr.
Chairman
Committee on the Judiciary
2138 Rayburn HOB
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Chairman Conyers

I am writing in support of H. Res. 799, the Articles of Impeachment which were referred to the committee relative to the Impeachment of the Vice President of the United States of America.

Recent reports indicate that the Vice President is attempting to shape the National Intelligence Estimate on Iran to conform to his misperceptions about the threat Iran actually poses. Much like his deceptive efforts in the lead up to the Iraq war, the Vice President appears to be manipulating intelligence to conform to his beliefs.

If the reports are true, they add additional weight to the case for impeachment. I believe impeachment remains the only tool Congress has to prevent a war in Iran. This information relates directly to the Article III charges in the resolution. I urge your timely consideration.

Sincerely,

Dennis J. Kucinich
