Privacy no longer can mean anonymity, says Donald Kerr, a deputy director of national intelligence. Instead, it should mean that government and businesses properly safeguards people's private communications and financial information.

Don't you really mean that it's time for us to change our definition of "lack of privacy"? Why is our government so interested in who we talk with or what we do? We are NOT children, we are ADULTS, and we are the people that the government is supposed to SERVE; we should not be spied on. This Bush agenda has got to go or he will take away all our freedoms in our Constitution; using the excuse of "war on terror"!
