I am completely sure Americans would be outraged if it were Chinese patroling the American streets and kicking in the doors to people's homes at 2 in the morning doing seaches for the insurgency fighting the invading Chinese army and Chinese marines. The American people would be outraged if it had been Americans in the exposed prison pictures being humiliated by Chinese soldiers, young chinese men and women stripping Americans naked
and having them march and prostrate themselves in the presence of dogs growling and chinese women soldiers laughing.

Seen from such a perspect, it is not difficult to appreciate the suffering of the Iraqi people.

They killed a lot more than that, let's stop the gag orders and tell the truth here. Its time for an all out tell all and get to who ordered those hits on our soldiers, and others. Does it really take a brain surgeon to know it was ordered by Cheney and Rumsfeld, Bush and Rice? They were involved in the Pat Tillman case, Camp Falcon, and others. Someone, grow some balls and do a tell all will ya?

Worse case scenario - (I pray to God I am wrong):
"New" Terror strike in USA around October/November '08.
Elections suspended; Constitution suspended; Civil liberties obliterated.
Blackwater, the privatized military Bushco set up takes over the "security" operations starting with concentration camps for dissenters and disenfranchised alike.
Bush will claim he has no timeline for how long this "coup" will last. Its all in the name of "The War On Terror". (Sound familiar?...Musharraf claims the same...as we speak).
This will lead to the Milton Friedman edict of "a clean slate" and corporations will take over every aspect of government or state run agencies. Well...I'm no seer or sage so I could be totally wrong. I just hope the Dems have some foresight to stop such a nightmarish scenario.

This Blackwater madness reminds me,very vividly, of an incident I experienced many years ago at Iwo Jima;

I don't remember if it was D Day plus one two or three,but it was somewhere around there,and in the dark of night.
We were patroling off the beach in the Boat Group Commander's Higgins boat when an "enemy aircraft alert"came over the radio.Just what the hell kind of damage a single aircraft in the dark of night could do is beyond me!
Suddenly somebody,out of confusion or panic or,who knows why?,began firing a 30 calibre machine gun,with tracer bullets, into the air, on one of the many vessels in the area.In an instant the area was lit up with literally hundreds of guns and tracer bullets being fired towards the spot the original gun was firing .This went on for probably ten or fifteen seconds until a message came over to cease firing the alert was an error.So all this mayhem was the result of,what I describe as"The Judah's Goat Syndrome",or when in doubt follow the leader and don't think yourself.

How so many of our civilian and military leaders(who would probably shit their pants if they got anywhere near combat)could not anticipate something like this , with Blackwater,is disgusting!

Oh! How we posture, and strut like pious and sanctimonious peacocks. We tell the world that we are a nation of laws, and that that is our guiding principal. We tell undocumented immigrants that they are illegal, and that they must come in through due process, because we are a nation of laws. And, yet we cannot find a law to prosecute those murdering thugs who slaughtered innocent Iraqis. Terribly sorry the operative word here is Iraqi..not white Americans, but Iraqis. Are we not a sad and pathetic lot!
