A female stagehand wants to stop Jeff Goldblum's movie "Pittsburgh" from airing on cable television or otherwise being distributed until her scene is cut.

Debbie Sue Croyle contends in a federal lawsuit filed Monday that she didn't sign a release to appear in the "mockumentary" and was humiliated because Goldblum used a double entendre in a scene in which she appears.

That's why you should never hire female stagehands.

To those who complain about inane posts on HuffPo: there are hundreds of posts on this site. Read and comment on those which interest you rather than wasting time and space complaining about them. You're not required to read everything.

I have been waiting for YEARS for someone to sue Jeff Goldblum. Not for this, but for:

*** His awful acting
*** His creepy mug.

Stage hands not being paid for being a part of the program dost seem cheap to me. But her law suit seems way over the top. They could have used a double for her and saved the flack, but now they got free publicity, she may have been paid to create the flack?

Yes, slip of the tongue is a good line.

Huff post pulls us in for the most inane crap. Much ado about nothing.

huffpo makes it clear from the headline that the film (presumably the production company) is being sued. What's the problem with the headline? I agree, however, what's the point of posting this paucity in the first place?

1) Goldblum is NOT being sued

2) he happens to be a nice guy. When he and Geena Davis were still married they lived in the same neighborhood (The West Village, in NYC) as I. I'd often run into them at the local deli and they were always very friendly with the deli's staff and customers... Some of whom were quite rude to them!

This suit is ridiculous. It deserves to be thrown out of court along with that woman.

Yep, HuffPo is going the way of FOX News - the headline screams that Goldblum himself is being sued because of something he said when in fact Goldblum isn't even NAMED in the suit and it has NOTHING to do with anything he said.

The headline was total bullshit and HuffPo should be very ashamed of itself for deception on the level of Bush and his cronies - 100 per cent falsehood.

Uh, Huffpo's headline is a lie. As it states in the article, Goldblum is not named as a defendant. Therefore, he's not being sued.

Shame on you Huffpo.

Stuff happens. David Cassidy's "Partridge Family"
contract was invalid because he signed it when he was 17 and the ABC lawyers did not notice. It made him millions from concerts and Lunch Boxes.

And who the fuck is Debbie Sue Croyle?

Her feelings were hurt. However, for a starring role in a movie she would consent to a scene where she jumps a donkey - but the price has to be right.

What, so now witty patter is criminal? She's just embarrassed that he turned her on, then turned her down ;) Brendel-fly is *NOT* pleased.

Who is in charge of headlines at HuffPo? Goldblum is not a party to the suit (says so in the article). That is: "Jeff Goldblum NOT sued over sexual double entendre".

Also, totallib, she's asking $4Mil in damages. Does that sound proportional to you?

Yet another greedy nebish abuses our legal system. I hope she loses and has to pay court costs for filing a frivolous lawsuit.
