Chris Noth

Us Weekly:

Rudy Giuliani and John McCain probably shouldn't bank on getting Chris Noth's vote this election season.

"I don't think there's one Republican I'd ever vote for," Noth, 53, told Usmagazine.com at the Rainforest Action Network's celebration at The Plumm in NYC November 10. "In terms of their corruption and their insensitivity to what's really needed in our society, they're repugnant. There may be a few good ones out there, but I haven't read of any."

Wait, there's more.

"Whenever you bring up the issue [of global warming] with them, they're like, 'Let's wait and see what the facts are,'" Noth continued. "If we're going to drill for oil, we should get on Crawford [Bush's ranch in Texas] and put some oil wells there!

Hmm, here are a few tragedies that come to mind...

Civil War
1871 Chicago Fire
1906 San Francisco earthquake
Pearl Harbor
Pick your favorite Hurricane
Columbine killings
VaTech killings
SoCal wildfires

Uh, Chris it's a nice sound bite/talking point, will probably get you invited to more Hollywood parties, but I think you're either a bit uneducated in United States history, the meaning of the word tragedy, or completely prone to exaggeration in your claims.

BTW, congratulations in your courage to step out from the crowd with this assessment. It takes a lot of guts to say something like that in Hollywood. (wonder how many will miss the nuance of Sarcasm in that statement).

Who cares what this actor thinks anyway? Why is this considered news?

HuffPost, you're going downhill fast. If I cared about celeb gossip, I'd go to TMZ or some other BS site.

Actually that is untrue.

Bush is the ''biggest tragedy in the history of the World''.

At least Hitler had a brain and used it.

Well duh. The rest of us saw this coming before his first inauguration.

Bandwagons are an easy ride.

So he waits until there's only a year left in the Bush administration to tell us this? How brave.

Alas, we will hear from all those involved in the making of SEX AND THE CITY.

Is it a must?

Yeah, I wouldn't lump Paul in with the rest of the Republicans any more than I would classify Kucinich with the rest of the Democrats. They're both the most distinctive candidates on either side.

I'd have to separate Ron Paul out of the rest of the Republican pack. I agree that there's not a single one of the likely winners of the Republican primary that I'd vote for, because I believe their priorities are wrong and diametrically opposed to what the nation needs right now.

Ron Paul, on the other hand, wants some things that would seriously benefit our nation, in terms of returning to constitutionality and the intended balance of powers, both among the three Federal branches and between Federal and State.

Don't get me wrong, Paul also wants some seriously crazy stuff like withdrawing from NATO and the UN, and some other things that I think are not so good. But still, if I were in charge of the universe, I think I'd make Paul the president for four years, long enough to correct some of the serious breaches in consitutionality that we've seen over the course of my life time, but not long enough to take us to crazy town.

Liam.
