It's been noted on this site and on others that the writers' strike is at least producing some great material, as writers left with no creative outlet take to YouTube (or, in fact, to blogging for the Huffington Post's Writers' Strike Page). Yesterday, The Daily Show writers posted a video smacking down the studios, and today brings this effort from the writers of The Colbert Report. In this video, what appears to be a mockery of NBC wunderkind Ben Silverman riffs on the power of the writers, the poverty of the studios, and the confusion about the future of monetizing content on the internet.
