John Travolta Plants A Kiss On Kirk Douglas

John Travolta planted a kiss on a startled-looking Kirk Douglas at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The elder Douglas presented Travolta with the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film Thursday night in Santa Barbara at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.

"He is so deserving of this unique award. For the past four decades John Travolta has given us iconic performances, just as Kirk has done in his lifetime," said festival director Roger Durling.

It was kinda of set back for me, by the photo of John kissing his boy friend on the lips, good bye on the steps of one of his jets, as his wife already aboard, looked on thru the plane window.

I don't like the idea of straight men kissing or hugging. Men have been struggling to show their affection for others in an exaggerated way for about 30 years now. It must end. Even the faux hug and backslap of Letterman and Leno has to go. A simple handshake is more honest, dignified, and comfortable.

If Travolta is gay, or half gay, who cares? Is it really anybody's business? Does it make him less of an actor or human being? Does his "religion" affect anyone else? You never see these kinds of judgements on conservative blogs. What is it with liberals and gay bashing, anti-semitism and gun control(for blacks)? I thought liberals were supposed to be live and let live, and most of the time I read the crap on HuffPo, its far more judgemental than anything on the right. To hold up hypocrite liars like Larry Craig is one thing, but to judge someone minding their own business is something else. Try reading something from a Libertarian point of view...
