Dr. Jan Adams: Death Of Kanye's Mom Will "Blow Over"

The plastic surgery doctor who operated on Kanye West's mother the day before she died finally surfaced Friday and predicted the furor would soon "blow over." Dr. Jan Adams made the crack to the lawyer of another woman who sued him for mistakenly leaving a sponge inside her after a boob job.

"He felt the complications of her death was not a result of any wrongdoing that he performed and that he will be vindicated once the facts come to light," lawyer Bob Nehoray said at the San Pedro Courthouse. "He said he thinks it's going to blow over."

What a nasty piece of work this 'doctor' is. He needs to be prosecuted. All the so-called legitimate media outlets that have given him air time need to apologize for this or get sued. I'm very sorry that this young, talented man has lost his mother who sounds like a wonderful, smart women. I want him to use his skills to write songs telling women they are beautiful at all ages without plastic surgery.

This is bad on several levels. He is a plastic surgeon that is NOT board certified, does not have malpractice insurance. These two strikes or failures should make it impossible to be able to practice medicine. How can you claime to be a surgeon of any specialized medical procedure without being at least board certified. That should be a minimal requirement for any medical doctor.

An important question here is why did that network give that doc so much air time and an on going series without checking into his background. That's incredibly sloppy, reckless, negligent. Showcasing the doctor is paramount to endorsing his skill and reliability. Very scary.

The Dr. believes "this will blow over", eh? He is one delusional, drunken, doctor, who deserves to have his license revoked. What an arrogant creep!

Usually, when a patient dies of surgery the surgeon is not the story, but in the death of Mrs. West, this a#@$ole is the story.

His contract with the Discovery Death Network ended in June, but they kept his show on the air until this week. Very poor judgement at this Network for hiring him and keeping him on TV for five years.

In addition to his other troubles, he does not have malpractice insurance and the women he harmed will most likely never see any money.

Her death was due to being discharged after an eight hour operation without observation. It was a surgery another doctor refused.

Ms. West was no different, but if Kanye's fame can be used to get this Bozo out of practice... then great.

Dr. Jan Adams arrogance, which no doubt is why he's in this position, is showing and if I were him, I go hide in cave, preferably in another country if I were him.

If Mrs. West died because of his mistakes, Dr. Adams may begin to wish he were never born.

Perhaps the other incidents of malpractice he was at fault with have "blown over" but this one surely won't, nor should it.

Maybe it's your mother tomorrow.
Maybe this death prevents a bunch of others and it can inform those people who are on the verge of making a decision on this kind of procedure to think twice and do a bit of research. The idea is that it migth save lives, whether we ever hear of any other instance or not.

And if she wasn't the mother of a rap star apparently beloved by the editors of HufPo, indeed it would pass over.

Death in or following surgery is nothing new.

Every surgical patient signs the same releases ackhowledging it.

Ms. West is no different than the rest in accepting the risk, except she's got a rich and famous son.
