Dem Majority Leader Hits Obama Over Negative Attacks

House Democratic Leader Steny Hoyer said the acrimonious tone of recent Democratic presidential debates may hurt the party's prospects in 2008.

``I've been disappointed,'' Hoyer, 68, said in an interview on Bloomberg television's ``Political Capital with Al Hunt,'' scheduled to air tonight. ``I think it will hurt the party.''

Hoyer is "disappointed" and thinks candidates' calling out Hillary for what she is will "hurt the party" because such comments are "likely to get used by Republicans" in the general election? Not if Hillary isn't the nominee! Stony, Hillary hasn't won yet, and won't if the Democratic primary voters and caucus goers listen to what Obama and Edwards have to say, and then vote accordingly. If the DLC and the Democratic Leadership don't watch out they are going to wind up with a fractured party come the 2008 election.

And it would be silly to think that voters within the Democratic Party who strongly disagree with Hillary are going to change their opinion ... if a progressiv­e/populist third party candidate enters the race then all bets are off for the Dems in the White House.

Chucky's mother, HRC, AKA Hillary Resembles CHUCKY, claimed to have been wearing asbestos pants at the Las Vegas Debate. I didn't realize that asbestos could be stretched that much. What if they had exploded on stage? What about the safety of the audience from the fall out? Would Nevada officials have been able to bury the residue at Yucca Mountain? The Dem candidates fell hook line and sinker for the instigation and goading of MSM that they mix it up more, get into a fist fight kind of like a school yard brawl. They were dissatisfied with the collegial tone of the early Democratic campaign and debates. Way too civil and intellectual, you know?? "Fight, fight!"...Wolf Blitzer, Candy Crowley, etal screamed.
