Scott Mcclellan

Long before the White House Press Corps became saddled with Dana "The Gift That Keeps On Giving" Perino, they got to receive their briefings from Scott "The Gift That Gave As Well As He Could Given The Relative Lack Of Confidence He Had In Just About Everything He Was Ever Asked To Say" McClellan. McClellan stepped down from the position in May of 2006, and has since penned a book that will finally allow him to do what he never could as press secretary: tell all.

Public Affairs, who will be publishing the book, has posted this excerpt, which gives one a helping of insight into how McClellan views his years of service:

The most powerful leader in the world had called upon me to speak on his behalf and help restore credibility he lost amid the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. So I stood at the White house briefing room podium in front of the glare of the klieg lights for the better part of two weeks and publicly exonerated two of the senior-most aides in the White House: Karl Rove and Scooter Libby.

There was one problem. It was not true.

I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice President, the President's chief of staff, and the president himself.

McClellan's book is titled What Happened, after the question he muttered to himself every night before the clutches of fitful sleep claimed him, and is scheduled for an April 2008 release.

UPDATES:
The Politico notes that McClellan intimated in a March 2007 appearance on Larry King Live that the President "did not originally know about the involvement by his aides."

McClellan: "I spoke with those individuals, ... and those individuals assured me they were not involved in this. ... said what I believed to be true at the time. It was also what the president believed to be true at the time based on assurances that we were both given. Knowing what I know today, I would have never said that back then."

OK now the word is out on the streets and Mr Scotty hasnt lifted a finger to dispute any of these words. Can we NOW Impeach Cheney and Bush? Seems to me that the RICO statutes may apply to this wild bunch... like any good mafia family, GWB has been bestowing all types of jobs to his buddies and/or family members. Like Paulie designating which cousin runs numbers, which runs narcotics and prostitution, who gets to run the concrete business, or collect graft off corrupt and greedy building inspectors.... This White House Gang has set up their business buddies to profit from their lying us into a pre-emptive War/Invasion of Iraq. How much more has to happen before the Investigations begin again in earnest against Scooter, Rove, Andy Card, Cheney and Bush?

Is anything about this administration (and president) even the least bit surprising to anyone anymore? Each new revelation just reinforces the stench of everything we already knew to be true.

Now if you really want to surprise and shock the populace, discover that our esteemed leader or one of his close personal pals did some "good works".

Okay, so maybe that would be a bit too shocking for most folks to handle, as we all know that would mean hell has truly frozen over and the second coming has happened!

In times when kings ruled, any subject who disobeys or speaks against the king is declared a traitor, and is either banished or executed. If the president is considered to be a king, then any citizen who either criicizes or disobeys the president can be considered a traitor. SO, it is important for americans to understand the difference between a president and a king and modify their behavior to give credence to what is democracy.

You little bitch. You had to leave the job to figure out that the party you belong to that was cyncially using everyone in sight, also used you? More likely, you realize your reputation and career advnancement are negatively impacted by your oily shithead peers and your bigplan is to make this pitiful little rejoinder.

You should be getting pounded in the ass in prison right now, you fucking runt.

Bush, as I've said before, has this amazing quality of turning men and women, like Circe, into swine who lie and go against any morals or scruples they may have had.McClellan joins the long list that includes Mukasey, Gates, and especially Rice and Powell.

Mc Clellan's just another neo-con asshole trying to make a buck after he ruined his career by being just another Bush enabler and fucking liar.
When Prosecutor Patrick Kennedy was investigating traitors Bush, Dick, Libby and Rove, McClellan could have and should have come forward and confessed what he knew.
I plan to do more than re-shelf copies of his books, I plan to do some mud gardening, rush to Borders and thumb through a few copies without first washing my hands.
Can you say $2.99 Bargain Bin?

Oh, and Valerie Plame should sue this little pig.

I volunteered for the position, pro tem, because I do not have to 'force myself' to do my duty, and at no time were the sensationalized remarks in this book fact, merely the impressions of someone jumping on a hate-campaign to embolden enemies of the US, for '30-pieces-of-silver,' in the pathetic attempt at making himself out to 'look' or 'feel' SUPERIOR, proving zero self-esteem and zero integrity.

THE ONLY IMMINENT THREAT WMD IN EXISTENCE IS HatefulReligiousSupremacy, and there is plenty of that in Iraq, Afghanistan, and right here at home. Just turn to our own hateful Congress' so-called 'shining-example,' living in FAKE 'majesty' while concocting more excuses to PUNISH/fine/tax/censor/cast-out/imprison/DUNGEON more of WeThePeople than ANY MONARCH EVER WOULD. That isn't 'representation,' it's FRAUD, to PROFIT, see -- from atop the rubble, misery and grief of their own subtle-instigation/HOPE, proving they've already established a state-religion of hating each other, setting each other up for failure, merely to sit-back, later, claiming, "Ah-huh! See! YOU are WORSE than ME/us!" proving zero integrity, proving their entire existence is the pessimistic tunnel-vision focusing of 'flaws' in others and everything around them, real or imagined 'flaws,' in the pathetic attempt at making themselves out to 'look' or 'feel' SUPERIOR, our own so-called 'shining-example' -- LegisHaters -- the HighPriests and Priestesses of the ChurchOfHate.

I understand sharing dissenting-opinions and encourage it, yet all you positive-people use speculative opinions, claiming it's 'proof' of your own pessimistic HOPEs, twisting conjecture into GOSPEL to WORSHIP in order to HATE each other, proving zero integrity, and thusly DIVIDING communities into ever-increasing numbers of squabbling TRIBES, instead of UNITING 'tribes' in PeaceOnEarth as commanded. I know what your priorities are.

We're all in it together -- we MUST FIX IT TOGETHER.

Kind Regards,
Clayton Winton -- HFA/3Ons

note: unlike the hateful, I have the honesty and integrity not to HIDE MY WORDS behind anonymity in the pathetic attempt to FAKE 'integrity.'

Bush pardoned Libby to protect himself.
Pardons are not that solid.
There is a specific exception: Impeachment.

Constitution: Section 2 - Civilian Power over Military, Cabinet, Pardon Power, Appointments
The President...//.. he shall have Power to Grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

This is why impeachment is the ONLY solution.

BushCo has thought of everything else!

Impeach BushCo for War Crimes and Treason.

Confront BushCo while you can!

Bush's Pardon was explicitly unconstitutional, but only if you impeach.

When these guys start blaming the others (their palls, the hands that fed them and for whom they slobbered daily and happily, and deliberately and shamelessly did the most unspeakable things without a blink) it is time for us to go and take a shower.

Why is it these guys only come clean AFTER the events have made history? Colin Powell is another one of these gutless individuals who cant say what they need to say at the right time FACE to FACE!

One word springs to mind, Traitors!
