Sen. Hillary Clinton's lead among Democratic presidential contenders in New Hampshire has narrowed over the past two months, while New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson bounced back to the low double digits in a CNN/WMUR poll released Tuesday.

With about two months left before the New Hampshire primaries, Clinton topped the list of Democratic nominees with 36 percent support -- down from 43 percent in a September survey. But nearly 70 percent of those polled believe the New York senator will eventually become the party's presidential nominee.

Actually this is a larger lead for Hillary than a pair of polls a few weeks ago which had her NH lead at 10 and 11 points respectively. So her lead does not seem to be shrinking, infact in may be going back up. The hate Hillary crowd is desperate right now it seems.

It's nice to see the people starting to wake up and think on their own. The closer you look at Clinton the more obvious it becomes that people don't want this professional sell-out in the White House.

What exactly qualifies Mrs. Clinton to be President?

If her last name wasn't Clinton, nobody would have ever heard of her.

I DOUBT THE CENSORS WILL LET ME SAY THIS BUT:
.
Even though many may like the policies that Senator Clinton proposes they should also consider her record – just as Senator Clinton insists.
.
The last Clinton Administration, when faced with the fact that protection rackets where torturing people with poison and radiation, chose to avoid their responsibilities to incarcerate the criminals and protect the citizenry.
.
Instead, they made a deal with the criminal gang stalking protection rackets to leave them alone and to consequently abandon the citizenry.
.
Do we want a President who sells out the citizenry for votes?
.
Do we want a President who sends a "crime does pay" message to society?
.
Would you vote for a President who has signed nonagression deals with the KKK or the Nazi party? Gangs that torture with poison and radiation are much like the KKK and Nazi Party.
.
We do not need a sellout President. We need a principled leader President.
.
I could be wrong since I was not there when the sellout decision was made but since nobody will admit the sellout they do not have to defend it.
.

I live in New Hampshire and just switched from being a Democrat to a Republican so I could vote for Ron Paul.

If the Democratic Party wants me as a member again it must Impeach the criminals Bush and Cheney!

If you think Hillary is electable, look at the posts on any story on HuffPo about her.

I don't know who the pundits and pollsters are talking to, but Hillary can't carry even half of the liberal people who post, let alone get swing votes from registered republicans or independents. Hell, most republicans say they would not vote for Hillary under any circumstances. I can't wait until the primary results come in and these assholes, who get paid small fortunes to speak and write about politics, all look like the out of touch, uninformed idiots they are.

Check out the other HuffPo story: "President Bush and first lady Laura Bush said that Sen. Hillary Clinton's experience as first lady has prepared her to handle the "pressure" of a presidential race and the White House."

Well if that doesn't prove to you just how much the republicans believe they need Hillary as the Democratic nominee in order for the republicans to retain the White House, nothing will. HRC is a loser - all around. I just hope she doesn't drag the Dems down with her.

I have never met anyone who likes Hillary. This country is tired of the Clintons and besides that Hillary is no prize.

I attended an Obama event in Laconia, NH this evening and was stunned by the turnout. Over 1,200 people piled into the Middle School gymnasium, the largest crowd that I've ever witnessed for any political event in this city of 17,000 people.

As the chair of the Laconia Democratic Party and as the former news editor for the Laconia Daily Sun I've attended virtually every Democratic candidate event in this city in both the 2004 primary and general elections, and this year's primary campaign. No other candidate has attracted an audience of this size, with the largest turnout I've witnessed having been 800 people at a Dean event in late 2003.

All of the Democratic candidates have campaigned in Laconia, and all have enjoyed respectable turnouts, generally in the range of a couple of hundred people. Edwards topped that 2 or 3 weeks ago drawing nearly 400 people to the high school.

What I sensed this evening is a real shift in the electorate. While Hillary continues to lead in the polls, even the most recent CNN/WMUR poll indicated that nearly three-quarters of the voters have yet to have made up their minds.

Tonight I had literally scores of people who heretofore had been undecided, tell me that Obama's message convinced them that he is the right choice for America. Over and over again I heard people express a real yearning for change and a fear that electing Hillary would likely result in several more years of partisan bickering.

Obama is clearly convincing voters that he represents change.

My understanding is that Hillary is expected to campaign in the city in early December. I'll be more than a little interested in seeing how local voters respond.

Incidentally, I've not committed to any candidate.

The article goes on to say, "Sen. Barack Obama placed second at 22 percent, while former Sen. John Edwards drew 13 percent — little changed from September, when Obama rated 20 percent support and Edwards, 12."

Let's see 36-22=14

Hillary is still 14 points ahead in New Hampshire.

If Richardson had the funds to give his message as big a showing as the girl Mr. Warbucks loves, I think America would become enthusiastic about him. He would be a great president.
