Nevada Brothel Owner Pimps for Ron Paul

Campaigning through Northern Nevada today, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul picked up the enthusiastic support of Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof.

After sitting through a 20-minute press conference with Paul, Hof vowed to put up a collection box outside the door of his Moonlight Bunny Ranch brothel to take up contributions for the candidate who he says, "Makes a lot of sense, doesn't he?"

"I'll do it today," he said. "I'll get all the Bunnies together and we can raise him some money. I'll put up a collection box outside the door. They can drop in $1 dollar, $5 dollar contributions. What a great way for the working girls to support Ron Paul. It's just the right thing to do."

Paul's campaign was surprised to see Hof, flanked by two prostitutes, emerge from a limousine outside of Lawlor Events Center this morning. They arrived with MSNBC journalist Tucker Carlson, who has been traveling with Paul for a piece he's writing for the New Republic.

This story is a nothingburger. C'mon! Candidates can't control who gives them a small contribution. From this story, you'd think Ron Paul solicited (pun?) the contribution.

I'm a liberal Democrat. I will support the 2008 Democratic nominee. I stumped for Kerry for a month in a battleground state at my own expense.

I also served in the US House with Ron Paul and respect him for being that rarest of species--an intellectually honest conservative who has no fear of the charlatans who've captured his party.

Almost all in politics at the top including the Senate/Congress folk have betrayed the American taxpayers. They all know how evil it's going while letting this country slide further into a sink hole of hell.

Ron Paul simply sticks to the Constitution and Law and rejects the BS. He knows it works and is what made us great ... once.

Looking at the three pictures on top of the politics page, we have John McCain with a facial expression somewhere between looking serious and being constipated, in the middle we have Bill Clinton smiling in a regal-looking sitting position draped by out-of-focus cankles, and then we have maniacal-looking Ron Paul with a reaction like he was just sentenced to being a prison bitch for a century.
