Ron Paul

Campaigning through Northern Nevada today, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul picked up the enthusiastic support of Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof.

After sitting through a 20-minute press conference with Paul, Hof vowed to put up a collection box outside the door of his Moonlight Bunny Ranch brothel to take up contributions for the candidate who he says, "Makes a lot of sense, doesn't he?"

"I'll do it today," he said. "I'll get all the Bunnies together and we can raise him some money. I'll put up a collection box outside the door. They can drop in $1 dollar, $5 dollar contributions. What a great way for the working girls to support Ron Paul. It's just the right thing to do."

Paul's campaign was surprised to see Hof, flanked by two prostitutes, emerge from a limousine outside of Lawlor Events Center this morning. They arrived with MSNBC journalist Tucker Carlson, who has been traveling with Paul for a piece he's writing for the New Republic.

Misconstrue2:

I have allowed you to misspell Israel for about two weeks now. I first noticed this misspelling on a Ron Paul post that you were yet again spamming and throwing massive amounts of links to wikipedia, something which most lazy, uneducated, paid hacks do.
I have allowed you to write this word "IsrEAl" appx 30 times....Each time you were never called out nor did you notice your spelling mistake. Which means this was not just an accidental mistake...You have NEVER spelled this word right!

MY QUESTION to you:

With someone as (ALLEGEDLY) experienced and educated in "political sciencing" knowledge, how is it you misspell one of the most commonly used words in your own area of education, "ISRAEL"?
30 TIMES?

I submit you are a liar, spammer, and likes to mislead and agitate. You are rude and often offensive to many. You teach others these same manners. I have called you out and so have many others.
Your drab personality and useless cut n paste rants deserve little if no attention.
I say little, because sometimes your posts should be used for learning (what not to do) experiences.

HERES another for those of you who believe this trolls profile.

Mislead2 said to another unsuspecting Huffpo user:

"How long have you had your political sciencing degree?

Are you sure its not a high school degree?"

............

"Political sciencing degree" as used above, was yet again, another example of the disaster Misconstrue2 makes out of the English language.
There is NO WORD "sciencing" and no one with these alleged credentials it says it has, would use this word.
Especially to describe a degree it ACTUALLY wants us to believe it holds!
The current Democrats have taught it well.

Hey troll, have the Jaws of Life removed your nose from Feinsteins ASS yet?

Here's a headline I'd like to see:

DNC Brothel owner, George Sorros, Pimps for Hillary.

What an ugly headline for this article. So now anyone who raises a few bucks for a candidate is a "pimp"?

I bet we don't see anything about Mrs. Clinton's fundraisers being "pimps". Even the ones that are.

Back in January after first meeting Ron Paul in 1976 Journalist Bruce Bartlett said:

"Ron saw the roots of the inflation problem in fiat money " currency not backed by gold or other tangible assets. At the time, this was a controversial position. But there was no denying that inflation had accelerated in 1971, when the United States cut the dollar"s last link to gold. This meant that the Federal Reserve Board was no longer constrained by how much it could increase the money supply, which increased rapidly along with inflation.

Although few economists supported a return to the gold standard, as Ron did (and still does), his critique of the Fed for creating the inflation problem dovetailed with that of "monetarists" like Milton Friedman, the late University of Chicago economist. At that time, most economists thought something other than the money supply was the main cause of inflation " budget deficits, higher prices for oil engineered by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, bad harvests, whatever.

The Fed chairman at that time was Arthur Burns, who had been Friedman"s teacher at Rutgers and Columbia. I remember being impressed by Burns"s appearances before the banking committee, in which he would take long pauses to fiddle with his pipe before answering questions " giving himself time to think and using up his questioners" time as well. Burns"s performances were masterful, but unilluminating. He always found some way to blame inflation on something other than Fed policy.

Since Burns was a Republican who had been appointed by Richard Nixon, criticizing him wasn"t really in the Republican playbook. But Ron was adamant that inflation had no other cause than too much money and that Burns could stop it if he wanted to. Most economists now agree with this view. That period of inflation ended only when Burns"s successor, Paul Volcker, slowed growth of the money supply.

I love it whenever some guy comes along that can speak in simple terms that make sense some nitwit decides to go off on a rant with a lot of pseudo intellectual mindless dribble as to how they're always right and no one knows like they do and on and on. Guess what, it's guys like Ron Paul and others who made this country and it's guys like the Bush's who screwed it up.

HuffPost - you guys should do an IP check on all the posters who have posted comments here. Considering Ron Paul's supporters' questionable ethics when it comes to stuff like this, I wouldn't be at all surprised if all of this support was coming from two guys sitting in their mothers' basement.

You RP supporters have no clue just how damaging a Ron Paul Presidency would be. His extreme economic policies are the exact opposite direction that this country needs right now. What's that? You say your house is on fire? Enjoy calling the many privately owned fire houses in your town to bargain hunt for the best price! Hopefully you'll be able to find something for under $10,000. RP supporters love dishing it, but anything other than their particular brand of man-crush for RP is met with diatribes about the glory that is this most virtuous of men, Ron Paul.

I suppose this is why he's so attractive to the lunatic fringe.

I don't know who all of the people are who go ballistic whenever someone says something other than "my, what a good, smart chap the fellow with two first names is... don't you think?"

The guy hasn't been on radar for most of us until he decided to run for Bush's job. I've listened to him a few times and he makes sense on the issues I've listened to.

I could care less that a brothel owner is offering to support Paul. The business is legal in Nevada. Not all of the candidates bother to make sure contributions come from legal sources.

But, unless all of the other candidates implode, I couldn't bring myself to see another Texan going into the White House.

While Paul is picking up speed and visibility according to most polls, I'm hoping Bloomberg gets into the fray to spice things up.

Nice picture, nice article. Shame on you HP. Thought you were a little more open minded and fair. Ron Paul has my vote, and the way our politicians seem to enjoy sex with prostitutes (hope there are some young males amoung them), looks like Ron Paul will be getting funding from both Democrats and Republican donors...into the box on their way out the door!!

I have HuffPo bookmarked and I've been checking it almost daily for 3 years now. I'm also an ardent Ron Paul supporter. This is the 1st time I've seen mention of him on here and for THIS?

Arianna, you are pathetic. I've given up on you. Hell, I don't even listen to LR&C anymore. it's all a joke.
